This is the bag I found Friday! The local Chanel didn't have it, so I was surprised they had it still. When the SA showed it to me, I was so excited! Even DBF was all "buy it!"

I adore Chanel airlines, so I get a little giddy when I find pieces of it. They also had the o case with the plane, and the airmail envelope clutch, but this is more useful to me since I've wanted the Gucci soho/camera bag.

It's just a round camera bag. I've already worn it to the maritime museum, I'll take it on the aircraft carrier we'll tour today.

I almost bought the big Herbag yesterday, but I was good. They also had several Jige clutch thingies but I really do not need another clutch thingy in my life. I barely use the Gucci one.

I also found that H wallets are too narrow for my needs and I was super sad because I had found one of my mon monogram colors in the wallet I was eyeing. they're sooo gorgeous in colors. I should've bought the coin purse as a jewelry case in retrospect. They barely had silks! No twillies or the super H 70cm I've been looking for.

Found the crossbody Longchamp bags in Lagoon, but omg it's too big.

I'm tempted by the maroon colored Sac Du Jour from YSL. Anyone have this to chime in if it's worth the price tag?

I was eyeing up sooo many bags this weekend! Haha.

Wondering if I can carry less to make it work. [emoji848]

So that was my biggest purchase, along with a Chanel book I found at Off Fifth.

It's funny, we're traveling for DBF's bday and all he got was a new watch and from Omega and a boat load of Fortnum and Mason teas from Williams Sonoma.

Wowza, love your Bags in Black gang.

Hello! I am joining in for black bag week! This is a good exercise for me because it is time for me to let go of my less used bags and seeing them all at once will help me decide which ones to pare from my collection.
My first picture is a Valentino Rockstud, a Coach Rogue with python trim, a Chloe Faye and A DVF mini bag.
The second picture is a Reissue w/gh, A Coach smooth leather Borough, an LV Speedy B 25 in epi leather, a so black Reissue and the love it or hate it Gabrielle! I have heard her called "fugly" in this thread but I think she is the hipper, edgier little sister of my reissues! It's love for me lol.

Thanks, she's my new favorite! She's very lightweight, I can carry her crossbody or on the shoulder and the zipper top will protect my belongings from my genetic klutziness. I like that she's understated like my reissues but with a bit more edge. If I want to fly under the radar, I can leave the zipper open slightly and drop the CCs inside. And my camellia wallet looks like it was made for her!

I love the Bolide. And I wish I had a bag that was 26 years old. The quality has to be amazing. This is why I buy a lot of preloved bags. I hear so many complaints about every brand's quality declining (which is crazy considering how much we pay for our bags). And I love the workmanship and styling on some of the older bags.

they will go to their new loving homes, one new and 2 used, nothing fancy but all leather. Just didn't use/like them any more

Pretty blacks, dc! I think you did a great job of curating. And I really like your bucket with the pink stripe. I remember when you bought it. Have you found that you can wear it year round? It seems like a perfect all the time bag.

LOL! Yes maybe that's it. I do like the Celine. Plus she's my only bag with an exotic skin. (I love exotics. I'm just scared they will age badly) So it's not a hardship to keep her.

I think I just love round/dome bags too much. I always worry I would regret selling some of bags but on the other hand you can't keep what is actually physically uncomfortable

OMG! I looooooooove dome shaped bags too! They are so chic and timeless. Plus they hold a great deal. I've been thinking of adding a colorful epi Alma or Prada saffy Bauletto to my collection at some point.

Hermes Lady Clutch (that's its actual name which makes me laugh when I say it out loud) sorry photo is so big!!!

BV 1990s hobo (it's lighter than a feather)

Gucci basket BTH belongs to my patent section, the outside is patent leather but the inside 'bag' is suede

Hermes croc Pullman (it's quite a big bag at 32cm an quite deep)

I LOVE the Hermes lady clutch. I have been Hermes ignorant for so long. I feel like I've missed out and need to jump on the train.

It's love or hate for me on Hermes styles. But, some have truly stunning clean lines that make me swoon. I also really like the no/low branding. So I may have to wander over to an Hermes store when I travel and take a look.

This is one reason I love this thread. I learn so much and get exposed to so many different bags.

Does anyone know what brands besides Givenchy do goatskin? I don't want to do spend "real" money on a carefree bag so I'd love to find a contemporary or less expensive premier goatskin bag.

I have one goatskin bag, a Mulberry Mabel. Haven't ventured in Mulberry territory in years, but I bet it still makes goatskin bags.

Thank you Spark , I think I've had it about 3 or 4 years now. I had all sorts of panic and buyers remorse about spending what was for me a lot of money on an old secondhand bag, but I just fell in love with it as soon as I pulled it out of the box. The stitching and structure are all perfect still, just a few surface marks on the leather - fantastic when you think about it. I like to wonder where its been and what gossip it's heard
GP wise, I'm thinking a really red red or green. A bright colour would be fab I think.
I'm loving all these gorgeous black bags, it's great seeing all the different styles everyone has. Black bags are stunning.
