2017 resolution - shopping my own bag and wallet collection. Any one else?

Today was hard pulling all the black bags out at once. I think it will help . It already has me thinking I could let on or two more go. Seeing them all in one shot showed me a bit of overlap.

Hello! I am joining in for black bag week! This is a good exercise for me because it is time for me to let go of my less used bags and seeing them all at once will help me decide which ones to pare from my collection.
My first picture is a Valentino Rockstud, a Coach Rogue with python trim, a Chloe Faye and A DVF mini bag.
The second picture is a Reissue w/gh, A Coach smooth leather Borough, an LV Speedy B 25 in epi leather, a so black Reissue and the love it or hate it Gabrielle! I have heard her called "fugly" in this thread but I think she is the hipper, edgier little sister of my reissues! It's love for me lol.

This was good for me to get most of my blacks out. I had forgot about 1/3 of them, especially the one used for football games and one for camping or picnics....etc....

Thanks, she's my new favorite! She's very lightweight, I can carry her crossbody or on the shoulder and the zipper top will protect my belongings from my genetic klutziness. I like that she's understated like my reissues but with a bit more edge. If I want to fly under the radar, I can leave the zipper open slightly and drop the CCs inside. And my camellia wallet looks like it was made for her!

I'm normally not a fan of black bags. I love my bags in colors. But I went crazy for the last couple of years buying myself some black bags. [emoji4] I think I'm settled now. I think this is the most refined color collection among the array of colors that I own. Maybe because I'm not big on black. The one that makes me buy has to be a really good one.

Missing from the photo are the new Arden Cove anti-thief cross body bag and the no-name black leather bag with the red rose on it. I still have them, but I think in the rush of the moment, I just forgot to put them in.

I'm actually thinking about replacing the chain strap on the Arden Cove. It's nice and very substantial, but it's too heavy. And the bag is very stiff. I'm thinking of ways to make it soften up. But that's because I prefer softer bags. [emoji28] I love the concept and function of it, but it feels very stiff all over which isn't what I like in my bags.

2 black bags, vintage bolide 37 (now 26 years old and still my favourite bag) and an aforementioned pandora couldn't resist throwing in gratuitous extra pic of squishy goat leather since we were talking about it

Wow congrats! That's great, I sold another yesterday so I'm down to eight, one of which is for sale - after that I'm done, bags that are left are just my favourites, and the funds will go towards my g party

Hermes Lady Clutch (that's its actual name which makes me laugh when I say it out loud) sorry photo is so big!!!

BV 1990s hobo (it's lighter than a feather)

Gucci basket BTH belongs to my patent section, the outside is patent leather but the inside 'bag' is suede

Hermes croc Pullman (it's quite a big bag at 32cm an quite deep)

More:

Apart from one these were all inherited

Gucci canvas/leather half-moon hobo (leather lined). Worn every Summer first by my mother and then by me sine 1988!!! I had the strap re-sewn last year and so will prob last another 30 years.

Another Hermes black box leather

Gucci lizard 'padlock' (another big bag at 30 across and tall). I swapped this with my mother (she got my Chanel GST)

I also have a Gucci Horse-bit convertible clutch 2003 which was one of my first designer bags actually bought by me

Gone but not forgotten 1970s crocodile shoulder bag (sold). Can't keep 'em all!

I have more black bags too but I'll have to find the pics somewhere. When tPF switched formats I lost many photographs

Love all of these great black bags and great pics! Your H Lady Clutch is so pretty and the pic made me smile because it looks like it's wearing a hat. I am also drooling over your H black box, wow!
