2017 resolution - shopping my own bag and wallet collection. Any one else?

You have great eye for bags lady. You always have the bags that I'm always lusting after but haven't taken the plunge on for whatever reason. That Fendi Has been on my back eye radar. How do you find this bag in terms of functionality with that small handle?

The small handle isn't a problem, because it also has a strap that is adjustable, going from shoulder strap to cross body (it has snaps, which is a super cool design). I hardly ever carry it by the little handles, except to get it in & out of the car... after that I carry it by the long strap. And most of the time I adjust the long strap so that it's cross body, which is the best length for me (and helps with avoiding neck/shoulder pain!). As for the size of the bag itself, it holds a surprising amount. There is a zipped divider in the center, which I know some ladies don't like, but I find it very useful.
This is a bag that DH liked before I did, oddly enough, and he was the one who encouraged me to get it. But it turns out that he was right... even here where we live, in the "back of beyond," I get compliments on it!

Purge process update. I hosted holiday brunch yesterday for 40 family members. This always leads to us drinking and in my closet. Needless to say I had some items already out that I was going to post to sell. Never got around to it. My cousins took all the shoes and I was able to get rid of 3 clutches. Also my old jewelry box. It felt so good to see the stuff go. Each shoe or boot I had only worn once. So glad that they are gone. My aunts were mad though because I didn't have anything for them. No seniors in 4inch booties please

That's great, Missie! Aren't you lucky to have a large family, and that they like your "goodies"! A real win-win!

First bag of the year - ice blue Le Pliage. I purchased this last January and used it a lot during the year but somehow still forgot that I had it - I found it in the entryway closet yesterday when DH cleaned it out. Today was rainy, and I expect we'll have many more rainy (snowy?) days so I had to do a Le Pliage as one of my three.

What a great bag, dc! Love the contrast of the leather handles with the nylon on the body, and the pockets must be so handy!

Thanks! The leather is very cool on my this one. It has many pockets and also comes with a crossbody strap ,but since the straps are long enough and super comfortable I never use the extra strap.

This is such a great color, thedseer! Perfect for the rain. We're having rain here, too, so I carried my Mulberry Alexa. It got wet, but I just wiped it off when we got home & it's fine.

What crafts are you doing? I had planned to so crochet last year and got distracted. I still have all the yarn. Sigh... one day I'll get that one going.

If you feel like buying/looking at new bags, crochet something! Maybe even crochet something for your bag (charm, cover, etc)
