Your outfit is so cute... the bag is a great match!
Love this brown. Couldn't find it so it wasn't meant for me. Living vicariously through you!

What a perfect color for January. I need a practical bag like this. Enjoy carrying her.First bag of the year - ice blue Le Pliage. I purchased this last January and used it a lot during the year but somehow still forgot that I had it - I found it in the entryway closet yesterday when DH cleaned it out. Today was rainy, and I expect we'll have many more rainy (snowy?) days so I had to do a Le Pliage as one of my three.

I'm glad you got rid of some items!!!
And, I disagree. When I'm a senior I will soooo rock some 4" booties!!!!
Hurray!!! This is EXACTLY what this thread helps us do!We fall in love with what we have and we clarity what we need for future. Good job, dc!!!!
OMG bake! You just reminded me of something! I did some crocheting about 5 years ago. Being the true bag lover that I am, I made myself a bag!!! LOL Yes, it's crazy! If you feel like buying/looking at new bags, crochet something! Maybe even crochet something for your bag (charm, cover, etc)
Eiiv,Great! I love some color as well [only have 2 totally black bags]. I'm also not a really black bag person, but with the Chanel flaps, I always thought black was the dominant color [even though I have seen other out of this world variations of their flaps, boy bags and whatsnot]
Great to know...I have never seen in person only online. Love the crossbody aspect and the longer adjustable strap. I also don't mind a divider in larger bag as it helps to structure bags. The small handle isn't a problem, because it also has a strap that is adjustable, going from shoulder strap to cross body (it has snaps, which is a super cool design). I hardly ever carry it by the little handles, except to get it in & out of the car... after that I carry it by the long strap. And most of the time I adjust the long strap so that it's cross body, which is the best length for me (and helps with avoiding neck/shoulder pain!). As for the size of the bag itself, it holds a surprising amount. There is a zipped divider in the center, which I know some ladies don't like, but I find it very useful.
This is a bag that DH liked before I did, oddly enough, and he was the one who encouraged me to get it. But it turns out that he was right... even here where we live, in the "back of beyond," I get compliments on it!![]()

Sorry, but I have to post this. (Disclaimer for the keen eye: I'm a beginner at crochet)
For the strap, I decided to use one of my leather belts that I really love but don't want to use or get rid of, lol. My co-workers all said it was too thick for the bag. I LOVED the thick strap. I told them that it makes it super comfy to carry the bag. Fast forward to today... Thick straps are everywhere!!!
Ok, here are some pics... I won't be offended if anyone laughs at my masterpiece. I'm just happy I finished the whole thing...oh yes fully lined with my signature inside. This will stay in my collection forever!

Elaine as much as I love them I wish they helped more when it comes to functions . I was glad to give them the items. That's great, Missie! Aren't you lucky to have a large family, and that they like your "goodies"! A real win-win!![]()
Eiiv,
I think black just tend to be the first color Chanel that a girl buys. You think this is the only one I'll need and it needs to go with everything. Then you realize this black bag doesn't go with hardly anything. I need a poo color and then your hooked. Now your adding basic colors and you've fallen hard. At least that's my story and I'm sticking to it
I love this. Is this a single flap
Great goals. What is your HG?My 2017 Goals:
1. Give some TLC to a couple of my LV bags.
2. Keep saving towards my HG bag and not get side tracked. No impulse buying.
3. Rotation, not carrying the same bag all the time.
LOL! The funny thing for me is my black does go with a lot in my wardrobe and I still feel I need to "round out" my Chanel collection and "snap up" the single flaps before they're gone. Any excuse to get the bags we want, right?Eiiv,

Bake,Black is also the recommended color for a first flap beyond beige. And has the easiest resale.
But with gold hardware only. Lol
My first Chanel was black! Haha.
