I will most likely just post Stylebook pics. During my 90 day ban, I'm doing crafts so I will be too lazy to pull bags out every week/day just to photograph them.

Plus there's so many categories and stuff you all want to see, it's going to almost be a chore lol.
Whatever works best for you. That goes for everyone. Do what you can or want to do. For me it is a chore to but I found when we stopped doing all the little assignments for me last year that is when I shopped other places and less in my closet. Don't ever let the thread be stressful just do what you are comfortable with and enjoy yourself.

On the other side of the coin, don't let this thread be dictating everything for you as well.

You'll have to decide what stays, goes, and comes in at the end, because you're the wine spending and wearing these items. [emoji4]

Dc, I think you and me would benefit greatly from avoiding shops altogether haha!

The chores didn't prevent me from shopping, but the thread overall reminded me to think purchases through at least over buying everything.

What crafts do you do? I find when I immerse myself in a hobby, I tend to shop less for fashion stuff. But sometimes I go overboard on the hobby. I bought a lot of fabric in the last quarter or so of 2016 but have yet to see any of it yet. Hoping to do some sewing and knitting this month.

Hi everyone! Happy new year!
My initial goal is the same as last year which I didn't have time to do - take stock - assess what I have, what I need/want, and what I should let go. In the meantime time I'll continue hanging out on pause peninsula!

My aims are much the same as yours, Sami. I ended up shopping everything BUT my wardrobe last year - something I won't be doing in 2017.
I'm not saying I'm banning myself (because that always ends badly for my bank account ), however I need to take the time to assess last year's purchases and work out if they are going to be keepers, or if they'll be heading to the consigner...

Happy New Year, everyone!

Very pretty! Thanks for the info. I have never tried one of their backpacks , though I do have quite a few of their bags.
I have a couple MZW bags myself [all from the Oxford series except for the backpack]. All of them in bright colors and prints. I have not been using them, but I know that once I use them, it might be a while before I use my leather bags, because they are so light! And I have to use the leather ones because they cost so much more and it had be a waste. ^_^;;

Eiiv,

Boring in color...I adore flaps but I'm a color girl and rarely buy black bags except out of necessity. I guess one should never call Chanel boring.
Great! I love some color as well [only have 2 totally black bags]. I'm also not a really black bag person, but with the Chanel flaps, I always thought black was the dominant color [even though I have seen other out of this world variations of their flaps, boy bags and whatsnot]

I am currently into paper crafts. Scrapbooking, cutting up old maps and newspapers and making them into something.

I also get caught up in DIY of designer stuff, which I'm trying to actually complete lol.

I used to be into sewing! I ended up giving all of it away because it wasn't entertaining enough for me.

I do want like a yard of fabric to be a photo backdrop for all my reveals haha.

Oh, I also want to learn to knit! But I should finish my projects first haha.

You a have a point. :)

True change comes from within! [emoji4] even though I've bought a lot, I did learn to buy for my life style and encouragement is good but it was something I had to realize for myself.

What crafts are you doing? I had planned to so crochet last year and got distracted. I still have all the yarn. Sigh... one day I'll get that one going.

Sorry, I did not see the later posts. My bad :)

Here you go! The pic was taken when I bought it in Nov 2016. I have only used it for about 2 weeks before I switched to my Mulberry SBS. I'm itching to use it again! It is not a hassle to get in and out of the bag (you don't need to perform special tricks to get into the bag XD It's almost like a top-zip handbag in my opinion), and it is very spacious for its size, since it is really shaped like a box!

Cool! Do you post in the arts and crafts section of the forum? I always forget it exists.
