I really wanted to start clearing out today but we got back from a week away last night, and I've spent the day either on baby duty or doing laundry/unpacking. I brought only one bag on my week away - my Massaccesi Blue Africa Midi-Soulmate - and it was all I really needed, and it went with all of my (neutral) outfits. I also only brought one necklace and one scarf and managed fine. Just goes to show that I can get by fine with less - it just has to be the right less.

thedseer, I'm joining you in the selling / purging!! I'm going to get items listed today and tomorrow. So, how about we have a January purge challenge! Anyone up for joining? Set your goal and work to make it by 1/31. My goal will be 3 handbags and 3 non handbag items out in January and nothing in. I'm setting this low so I don't get discouraged with January being a bag selling month. This also makes my full year goal not feel so overwhelming. :oh: If I sell 3 things a month, I'd hit my goal by May which would make me VERY happy.

I wish there was a good consignment store near me. I would like to just drop off a. Inch of clothes and be done with them. I don't want to sell them in onesies. :hrmm:

But whatever we purge, these need to be thoughtful. We don't want any regrets later on. :smile:

The Tea Rose Dinky is an adorable little bag! I'll bet it looks great with dressy outfits. :flowers:

I only have 3 to purge for the entire year... I think... so I don't want to do them all in January.
But I'll commit to sending ONE of those three off to be re-homed in January.
So that's my goal, and I'm committed to making it happen, one way or another, by 1/31.
This is a bag I haven't carried since last spring, so I definitely will NOT be sad about sending it off! No regrets! :smile:

I was really fortunate to get some nice Christmas presents this year. :amuse: I'll share some later but one of my favorites is The Hookup purse hanger. I refuse to put my bags on the ground so this is great for me!!! I received the platinum one which is wonderful as most of my bags have WG, rhuthenium, etc hardware.

Here it is on my so black YSL. I'm not a purse charm gal but this looks clean and elegant.

Happy new year! I am staying in tonight with my husband, baby, and fur babies, but my husband and I got to go on a movie date this afternoon, so this is my last bag of the year (really more of an SLG) - Massaccesi Flora in Pewter.

This is a great idea! I don't particularly use bag charms, but I may get this. I refuse to put my bags on the floor, so often put them on the back of a chair, but sometimes that's risky.

Yes, people still bump into them - sometimes deliberately. :annoyed: I usually get a chair just for my bags but sometimes it's not an option. This will help in those circumstances.
