Labs just eat everything. You'll be very poor if you decide to get one. Have you considered a mixed breed like Chihuahua x Labrador, a miniature lab?

So true. My lab mixes dogs ate so much food, I got into couponing to keep up with their dog food demands.

And one dog was a diva. She couldn’t have the same food all the time. Needed different flavors rotated daily.

I am looking at lots of small mixed breeds. There’s so many at the shelters so I’m trying to find one with a good personality and temperament. [emoji4]

A lot of the ones I am considering are available Friday, so fingers crossed I find my next furbaby!

Yoogi's is having another sale. And, I'm being seriously tempted by 3 bags.

1) A fairly expensive everyday bag that I really want and know I'll use. But, I think it will cannabalize usage from some other bags.

2) A beautiful workhorse black bag that would be a good replacement for the YSL and help take some pressure off the Fendi which I wear a little too much

3) A WOW! bag. I've been looking for a wow! bag for several years. This is definitely one I'd love. But it's expensive and will lose value. And, I don't know that I neeeeed a statement bag since some of my regular bags are pretty much statement bags like my silver microcannage Diorama. Lol!

Argh!

I need to be sensible and pass on #3. :crybaby: I've committed to not spending a lot of money on limited use specialty bags. That change has served me well - my most expansive bags are my most used bags. So I don't need to back track.

So if I buy it would be down to...

#2 which would be a smart buy. I need it, I'll use it and I love it.

- Or-

#1 which is reeeaallly calling my name but not needed. I know I'd get a lot of use out of it. But, honestly, it would cut out some uses of some other bags.

I can do one or neither. I cannot afford both.

Help!

No. 2 sounds like it ticks your requirements [emoji106]

The most valuable lesson I learned this year is that I can skip a sale and the feeling of missing out will go away.

Your comment aptly describes the space I’m in right now; this is the first year I have not stalked the sales looking for anything and I don’t feel like I’m missing out. I promptly delete email sales alerts from various sites and keep it moving, lol

I'm curious. For those of us not in bag buying mode - either by choice or chance - how long has it been?

As I mentioned, I've fallen unexpectedly into a now 4 month 3 week no buy period. :oh:

How long has it been for everyone else?

My last bag purchase was in September; my medium Lady Dior. So that’s 3months for me. By choice, I haven’t gotten anything since then (except for my LV favorite MM that I bought in August but didn’t receive till November so that doesn’t count).

I don’t feel like I’m missing out on anything. I haven’t checked out anyone of the usual sales that I follow every year and it’s so weird but I actually feel quite good about this.
Maybe it’s because I’m consumed with keeping the kids busy over the school break but I really don’t feel the urge to look for or buy anything. [emoji4]

One of my goals in 2018 is to also limit my purchase of bags ‘sight unseen’. I’m not sure how realistic this would be but we’ll see. If I’m able to this I would definitely be making a lot savings as I would only be getting things I’ve checked out to make sure it fits my lifestyle.

I'm back in my Jimmy Choo Raven Hobo. This was the best $100 I ever spent. I still can't believe I scored this bag like new for that price from Fashionphile! It's so easy to wear. I just throw in my things and go! Ms. JC Raven accompanied me to a last minute nail apt. (So glad to get fit in with my favorite tech before NYE!)

I still get frustrated about not finding things in an unstructured bag so I think I need to up my pouch game. If I could solve that problem, I'd be much more apt to get a bag with a relaxed profile. But, maybe, I shouldn't solve that issue. I may be tempted to buy even more bags. :lol:IMG_3808.JPG

Whatever you get it will be amazing. I love your collection. Can't wait to see how you continue to curate it in 2018.

OK, in the spirit of getting ahold of something once loved but never bought, look what arrived today from Yoogis. I never wanted a Spy but the Baby Spy was too adorable ... though it didn’t have a strap so, no. But I never lost my love for the bag. This one popped up for a song a few day before Xmas and I decided NOW! I love its dinosaury skin look and squat little shape. Then the leather, aaahhh. It’s in beautiful condition though10 years out of date but it’s blind love and I’m wearing it tonight.

Thanks! The caviar is going to consignment today. I'm getting more for it than the cost of the lamb so I'm happy.
I thought that will go to DD?

I was actually quite shocked that the black totes I was eyeing from several designer A/W 17 collection are already on sale. I thought the earliest period for purchasing would be winter sale due to the classic colour and IF I'm lucky enough since practical black bags won't survive too long on the shelves during sale period. I'm so happy I managed to snatch McQueen tote.
