That’s funny— I’ve been doing the same thing. Delete, delete, delete. At some point I’m going to need some new clothes, but I have no interest in shopping right now. It’s weird.
Me, too! The only site I went to was Nordstrom, but I didn't see anything that interested me. I'm feeling very picky at this point, not interested in buying anything just because it's 40% off. This thread is a good influence on me!

Unplanned purchase this month!

I have a large crossbody from MZ Wallace that I took on a trip abroad a few years ago. Too big for future trips because my children are older now. No more snacks and kid doodads to haul around anymore!! I found a small crossbody in a pretty caramel color on sale. The leather bits have a nice contrasting red edge paint. Small bag, 10”x7”, perfect and lightweight for my upcoming summer trip.

Here she is, caramel Bailey in Bedford nylon by MZ Wallace. I added a new Coach bag strap that I got for Christmas. Hardware doesn’t match with bag’s hardware, but no big deal. I also got the cutest coin purse with little monkeys that I could not resist (I normally don’t buy SLGs beyond what I need).

This looks like a perfect travel bag... just the right size! What's the weight like?

I feel guilty not having changed any SLGs or charms lately because after work I rush over to an animal shelter to see who the new arrivals are. There’s so many cuties there but so many are such large dogs, even bigger than my Labrador mixes. [emoji15]

Hoping they all find a home, and hoping I find some time to continue with my resolutions!
Good luck with your search, bake... this is a big decision!

This strap looks so good with that bag. It’s the best!

I've been complaining about some bag materials like caviar and saffiano. But, sometimes these materials really are perfect.

Today I was wearing my top handle Prada. And it was lucky too - I was standing still talking to a friend and some guy bumped into me and spilled his coffee on my bag. The worst part? HE was frustrated and didn't even apologize. :cursing: Some days I wish I had magical powers. He soooooooo would have been turned into a slimy warty frog.

But, my bag was fine. A wipe down with wet napkins and as good as new. I'm going to clean and condition her when I get home but this would have been a catastrophe for a lambskin bag. IMG_3868.jpg

I'm glad you were wearing this! This just came to mind, what would I do if something like this happens to a nice expensive bag that doesn't wipe clean easily???

Actually, a similar incident happened with my beige Massaccesi Zhoe Legend. I entered a meat shop (this was already on the way home) and the guy there was opening a big bottle of Sprite. He was jolly and all so he probably might have shook the bottle. So out the soda squirted, some onto my bag!!! I immediately wiped with wet tissue. While wet there were splotches. I know with clean water the leather would not stain (had an earlier experience with same bag). So I had to hold my breath until the wiped Sprite dried out. Miraculously, the bag came out fine!

I know this has nothing to do with handbags. Or even clothes, jewelry, or shoes, for that matter. And it may not apply to anyone other than @Sparkletastic , who was majorly kvetching last week about her creaking iPhone 6s. But I was just reading tonight that Apple is starting a new program some time in January, going through next December, where they will replace the batteries in out-of-warranty phones (6 or greater) for... get this... $29.

I guess they've ticked off too many people with their software slow-downs, and they're trying to get back some goodwill.

Or else the price of their stock is dropping.

At any rate, spark (and anyone else with a slow phone), I don't know for sure if your problem is battery-related, but for $29 it sure makes sense to test it out, yes? :coolio:

Darn I replaced mine on my old 6 for $39 haha. That’s okay. Dad uses it now for his new drone. [emoji4]

But I read online any slow phone should get a battery replacement first, which is much more affordable than a brand new phone nowadays!

If not that, a restoration to factory settings might help.

I'm so glad your bag was ok!

I think when we buy delicate bags we have to know some external force may cause a problem. I think the only thing to do then is send the bag to a spa and hopefully it can be repaired. And, hopefully, the person who caused the damage would offer to pay for the problem. <wishful thinking>

Thanks, @ElainePG! I will run to the store next month and switch out the battery. I'm gonna give this phone a lotta love in hopes it lasts at least til the next generation of phones. Fingers crossed.

Merry Christmas to you all! [emoji319] I am spending a week at my parents‘ and decided to take two bags with me: Mulberry Bayswater in mole grey and Fendi Peekaboo in caramel. Moving a bit out of my comfort zone in taking two premium bags, here. But I decided they want to be worn and for „emergency“ cases, there always is a Longchamp. Now, although I thought my Bays was underloved, I registered traces of wear at the corners, yesterday. And a bit of what seems to be denim colour transfer. How do you tackle that? Any recommendations? A common eraser did not do the job.

Update and a pic! I am back home and happy to say that I used both bags. The Mulberry a lot - you get to know your bag when carrying it, I can only say! Turns out it was not colour transfer at all - when the mole grey coating rubs off, a darker grey comes forth. So it is only the sign of a bag loved and worn. I really seem to have underestimated the times I have worn this bag. I always hesitate because of the weight, but these days it was absolutely ok. Here are my travel companions, I think of them as classic and timeless, maybe my kind of equivalent of H B and K which goes well with my office and social life! Maybe I would only need these two bags but I also love all my others and having a daily choice!

OMG! I agree. This is exactly the vibe I get looking at your photo! Classic, gorgeous and wear wherever.

I really love the Peekaboo. Great color for this bag.
