For 2018, I still have a ways to go on paying off debt. So bag purchases will probably be later in the year. My only plan right now is that I'd like another LV and one more premiere bag. Maybe Fendi, maybe BV, I don't know exactly what.

I'd also like to get a few more bags sold and tighten up my collection some more, make some space. Plus that money helps pay off debt!

My smallest bag that I own is probably this tiny little beaded bag my mother gave me when she was moving. I think it holds keys and a lipstick or something. I doubt my phone would fit in it. I doubt it's terribly expensive, it might function better as a little girl's dress up toy than an adult bag. The smallest bag I would consider part of my collection (kinda) is the MK mini Fulton crossbody that the buyer returned. The largest bag is probably my LC Le Pliages. The only one that might beat it is a RL expandable tote bag.

That tiny beaded bag sounds adorable!

My smallest bag is the Ferragamo Fiamma nano size. My largest is a big north-south feedbag from a leather school in Florence behind (or within, never sure) a cathedral there. It belonged to my late mother-in-law who first introduced me to BV. The bag has much the same quality and weaving as BV. I wear it once in a while and am about to have it relined.

Please share the feedbag!

My largest bag is either my Mulberry Alexa or my RM Cupid.
My smallest is my REDValentino clutch bag, which I only carry when I'm super dressed up, like to go to the opera. It actually holds quite a bit for a clutch bag: phone, small wallet, lipstick, tissue, pill case, and even teensy opera glasses. This was one of the first "designer" bags I bought 4 years ago when I first became interested in bags. I wanted to get it in black, but DH suggested this raspberry color and actually I think he was right. Since I usually wear a charcoal dress and an H scarf, the bag becomes a nice bit of color. And I don't stress about matching the bag to the scarf. :p

That's a sweet story behind your "feedbag"; I'm sure we'd all love to see a picture of it. Where do you send something like that out to be relined? Are there places in NYC, or do you have to send it back to Italy?

I think my car shopping woes are coming to an end. We found the car and they offered the best price we’ve seen in weeks.

Fingers crossed.

It wasn’t my top pick, as I’m biased towards my particular brand of car, but it was his top pick in being super functional. But it’s what he’s looking for in a price we are thrilled with.
That has GOT to be a huge relief, bake. Did the salesperson treat you reasonably well?

Omg!! I almost kept the hobo version of that!

It was sooo gorgeous in this beige color, but it had a weird smell so I couldn’t keep it. It was such a deal from the rack too and the bow! The bow is so adorable.

I see this coordinating well with your scarves, much better than a black one.

Surprisingly they’re nicer if you email/text. [emoji23]

This one has made a good impression so far, his sales tactics are being nice. Haha. Some are so snobby, they’d give Chanel a run for their money in snootery. We’ll see this weekend how this salesperson will treat us in person.

I will be relieved once this is finalized. DBF is worrying me with his comments of “my car is making a new sound.” [emoji15]

We should’ve been trying to replace this car months ago, like I told him, but of course he doesn’t listen.

This is just adorable. I love a luxe bow on a bag. The color is great too. DH has taste and instincts :).

Thanks for asking ... you too Bake. The bag Is about 16” long ... big for me. The ladies in my family presented it to me at the reunion in August. They know my “hobby” and wanted me to have the only bag remaining of their Nonni’s special bags from the leather school in the Basilica di Santa Croce (I checked the text from my nieces as to where it comes from.) There’s a shop called Modern Leather here in New York that does really good work in relining and other repairs. BV sends people there, I believe.

It was hard to get a pic of this bag; the sides are suede and it seems to eat the light up. It’s also well worn so I’ll see what Modern Leather can do with that. I had to lighten the first one a lot so it’s a little blurry. Here it is ...
