I noticed when making a spreadsheet as ksuromax recommended, that I actually have a lot of bags that are F/W only, and only 1-2 that are S/S only. I found a hole! No red bag that is year-round, my reds are F/W only. And no S/S taupe.
Luckily, S/S is like ten minutes where I live, so my F/W weather is nearly year round weather.
Are these really holes? Since S/S is short in your area, do you have other bags that you can use instead of getting a red or taupe. Red is a strong neutral, taupe is a more quiet neutral. Can you utilize some other colors v buying a new bag?

I have changed so many of my bags since the beginning of the year. That the color exercise we did in the beginning of the year is no longer valid as I got rid of quite a few. I have now started to photograph some of them individually as I use them and that is helping.
It will be fun to see your bags during next year's color showcase!! I love that we started before and afters this year. It really helps see how people are curating their collections.

This year, I've bought 8 and sold 10. But I don't really feel like much has changed. Hmmm... Maybe the before and afters of my own bags will help me gain perspective, too!

I lost a lot of my photos when I upgraded my phone. I thought all were backed up but I was mistaken. Hopefully I will be able to find some.

Shopped my closet and picked out a Bottega Veneta favorite, my Cervo Loop in Desert Rose. My only pink bag, and it’s more than enough.

Beautiful bag with a lovely slouch. I’m curious about this color, desert rose. On sites, on my screen, it looks like it’s light taupe. It doesn’t appear pink yet the word Rose, and your description of it as a pink bag lead me to believe that it’s pinker than I’m seeing. I’ve been tempted by the medium Veneta hobo in this color but I held back because of that word Rose.Would you describe the color in a little more detail/nuance so I “see” it a little better. Thx :)

This is a terrific bag... in fact, the entire outfit is A+++. I like that your pink bag is such a soft and subtle color, and not a bublegum or candy pink. More of a sandy rose, if your photo colors are true. I can see this color being versatile enough to work with a lot of different outfits.

I believe I’m safe for the remainder of November.

0 bags in, 0 bags out.
0 SLGs in, 7 SLGs out.

I bought a lot of charms but who’s counting those? [emoji23] I did use them all though.

ETA:
I am at 4 of 5 months in 2017 of no bags and SLGs. December has to be a 0 in month to make my goal.

I have used all my charms, twillies, and SLGs! [emoji119] goal met! I just have to use what comes in.

The cost per wear resolution was highly ambitions. My older bags and my LCs are under $10 cpw, but I have to work on getting closer to that goal for the rest of my collection. But most of them should be under $100 cpw easily. [emoji4]

Originally I was allowing 20 bags and 20 Longchamp Le Pliage. Now my goal is to keep my bag count to 30. I am at 29! [emoji119]
