Eggtartapproved- Our weather is nasty too! I'm sick of the rain but I'm looking at as I a getting my moneys worth with my waterproof bags.
Tulli- I love your tribecca. It is such a pretty color and your wallet looks great with it.

Helloooo ladies!! I am back from a long vegas weekend and soooooo much has happened while I was gone on this thread. Just wanted to post a quick update. I carried my sequin bling, bling speedy and fuchsia Dior pouchette on my trip. I can successfully (but not happily) report that I did not buy anything on my trip. I should make clear that it was NOT due to my strong willpower but rather lack of time to shop. I wanted to window shop bags at Crystals and Ceasars but it was not meant to be. When that happens, my urge to shop becomes greater. Will have to try and be good, but no promises. Will try and do an update post soon.
Wecome back! Nice that you had a great trip! for staying stong!

I'm still waiting for the store to call me back about my tote. This is what the stitching looks like. From the front you can't tell I wonder if the threads are just to dry and weak.
Ohh, no. This is so sad, I hope you will find something you like.

And what I Tetris inside.

Amazing that all this fits into that pretty tote!

Today I switched into my Rebecca Minkoff Hudson Moto Mini. I love using her but just wish my wallet fit in a bit better (full sized so just a bit of a squeeze) hoping with some more use I will be able to kind of mold the bag to my wallet, like breaking in a pair of shoes. That or I will just switch to a smaller wallet.

Here is my "arty" photo I took for instagram haha.
Very nice picture and pretty bag. I am not big Minkoff fan, so it was first time I saw it. :=

It's raining today, so I swapped from Teal Edie to Signature Edie since she's a bit more suited to handle the icky weather
Pretty bag!

As I was entering my list on my phone I realized I did not enter a bag I had tried to sell earlier in the year. I really did not want to keep it so I made a dirt cheap price and put it on my local yard sale site. It sold with in five minutes. I will deliver it tomorrow . I am so happy. If it goes off without a hitch I will try to get rid of more things that way. I had tried once before but always listed them so early in the morning nobody probably ever saw them. If your looking to get rid of cheaper stuff try your areas site. This will bring me up to 9 bags out this month and one bag in. Also one slg out.

Thank you Tuuli!

Wow good for you dc!! Those sites are awesome, I have sold on them many times and I once picked up an amazing bag for dirt cheap haha

Yay! Way to go DC!

Thank you all for the list love! I do not necessarily advocate my level of OCD in writing out lists, I think it stems from my professional background in business development strategy & project management. Now I'm just applying it to my personal life, lol

On the home front DH came up with the potentially genius idea to build a home so we have spent much of the last two weeks scouting empty lots. Potentially trespassing :shame:

egg - yuck! it is definitely cooling off here but still mostly sunny. Sometimes it gets a bit cloudy but no rain, apparently it is not done with BC yet so has not moved our way :)

As I'm typing this, the clouds are clearing up and I can see sun! =)

Yay to building a home! That's exciting news =)

Basically the economics in Austin have changed drastically from when I moved to Chicago in 2008 so for the level of what we're willing to spend and the locations that we deem acceptable to downtown, we will be looking at fixer uppers. I renovated my old condo so a decorating project doesn't worry me but if our price level is actually more like tear down condition....we're doing some side research on what home building means as a backup plan. One of my Chicago BFFs happens to be an architect and has been fantastically helpful on the "what does it take to build a home" front :)

What about a prefab house. They are built indoors so you do not have to worry about weather and they are well made in a wide variety of sizes.
