I am the type of person who is more likely to return to NV for Burning Man than to go shopping in Vegas

My real life friends are hipsters who do not care about purses whatsoever so it has been lovely getting to know all of you over the last couple of months ❤

Still using my db nylon satchel. This may be the longest stretch of time that I've been using the same bag, for a while. I have a slight urge to change out of her but have been feeling lazy when it comes to it. She also goes really well with the navy MK wallet I received.

egg how long have you been in your DB nylon satchel? I have worn my Speedy everyday since leaving Chicago so....almost a month? My Doonsicle lives in the bottom as a base shaper & I also have my Le Pliage folded up in the bottom of my suitcase but haven't even opened my Longchamp yet. So far it's only rained at night & I've just used my Zippy wallet or my DB as a clutch.

Maybe I'm getting bored by only using one bag which is why I've been Sukey obsessed? lol

It's been almost 2 full weeks since I've been using her! But today I've been seeing a lot of totes so I might be changing for tmrw :)

I finally called them myself and I told them I would come in on the weekend. They said they won't have another one till next week. I was going to send it back and let them send me the new one, but my Dh said what if the new one has something wrong with it too. He said lets just go and maybe they will have it by then or they might have something else that I would like. That way I could put on my glasses and give it a really good once over.

Good idea!! Hopefully you will be able to find something perfect!

LVk8 - had a great idea to keep a list of your bags on your phone . This way if you are shopping before you buy check your list to make sure you do not already have something like that. If you do you can decide which you like better and either do not buy it or get rid of the old one.

AmorNChanel- I hope you enjoyed your trip.
Thanks dc. So sorry to hear about your tote problem:nogood::tdown: I hope they take care of you because I really liked the rough, vintage like color of this tote.

Welcome back Amor!
Thanks Mimmy. Your five year old bag looks brand new and not to mention the leather is AMAZING!!!

Amor - YAY on getting to use your bling Speedy ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks LV. Morning, noon or night. My bling speedy is never out of place in vegas.

amor- Vegas and blingy speedy... sounds like a match made in heaven!!!
So true cupcakegirl. If I was head to toe in bling at breakfast, I would be right at home. Not that I did that (just saying)...

LVintage - Let me start off by wishing you a happy belated birthday!! Sorry I missed the fun. Your MC cles, MAM and cake are what I call a celebration!! Hope you had a fun time on your birthday.

Jenny - a belated welcome back is in order for you too from the world of all things magical. I hope you recovered from being sick by the time you left and had a blast at Disneyland. Nice job holding out on the bag. As you said, there will be other opportunities.

Your Pashli...what can I say? I love me some Pashli!! And your RM Hudson is always looking classy. The structure of the bag really makes the Hudson special since RM doesn't have very many structured bags that I know of. I also like your nail color.

Lou - thanks for sharing your special Coach Bleecker that DH gave you for your wedding. It's beautiful with a priceless memory associated with your amazing bag. Not only is the color rich, it is rich with memories.:heart:

Since I go with DH to Vegas 2 or 3 times a year, I just go there to chill while he gambles. I don't gamble so when he plays, I window shop. And there are soooo many windows to shop at, especially when the stores don't close until 11 pm or midnight...lol

Msd - your rose sukey is gorgy!! The color is so sweet and special. All this sukey talk sent me to the Gucci website and I fell in love with the bamboo mini tote crossbody bag. I had to close my internet window promptly to avoid temptation.

Hope you had fun at the wedding. Your mini special occasion bag is adorable and perfect for such an occasion.

Tuuli - I adore your LV bag and red MJ combo. What a perfect pairing!!

LVk8 - your something purple was something really special. I didn't know that they released a purple in epi. What a fabulous find. Congrats!

Good luck in your house and job hunting!

Regarding NV, I will have to leave the Burning Man adventures to you youngsters. I am too old and needy wanting a soft bed, warm running water and room service...lol

Eehlers - sorry to hear your Rhyder didn't work out for you. :( However, it appears your new teal Edie came to the rescue. Congrats on teal Edie. What a beauty and that adorable robot key charm is the icing on the cake. Not to mention teal Edie has a cousin hiding in your closet to keep him happy...lol

I agree that Ceasars is full of eye candy. Playing with all the bags does make it hard to walk away. I usually walk to the gelato stand so it all works out. :)

Dc - your sideways coach pic doesn't hide the fact your bag is BEAUTIFUL!! The color and that old coach leather looks amazing. Wish they still made them like that.

Bake - always a pleasure to see your alma. The one I still pine after. I think you should keep your Madeline. She seems so useful. If you let her go, I think you may regret it since you always seem to find use for her.

More diy project...love it!! I am an aspiring diy'er. Really like your new room decor using the shopping bags. Not to mention your purse charm chain for your Burberry.

Nice to see your custom LC again, especially goes well with your LC slg's in your Tetris pile.

Since you are quite close, a weekend trip to vegas is in order to at minimum gawk at everything. Since you frequent scp, you have access to many stores, but it's just to another level in vegas. As mentioned above, when DH gambles, I wander off and drool at all the eye candy. I like to play with all the bags in stores I don't frequent as often. It's truly a shopaholic heaven. Not to mention a foodie heaven too.

Cupcakegirl - good luck on your bag selling and hoping you get a fair price.

Egg - thanks for the welcome back. Sounds like your DB haul this year is getting lots of love. Isn't it great when everything you get works? Yay!!

So I've been trying to get some of my older bags into rotation. I pulled out a beige Cole Haan bag that I haven't used for well over a year. I must have been into big bags cuz she is very roomy and bigger than what I carry these days. A slip pocket in front and back with a large middle compartment. Even though the color is light, I have no worries cuz she seems easy to care for. She was at the optometry office today.

I also pulled out my Burberry haymarket tote with red trim. I don't grab for this very often cuz I find the color hard to wear. I think the red leather trim that throws me off and I don't wear much red. She also comes with a detachable zipper pouch. The pouch has two metal snaps that attach to the inside of the bag and can be used separately if needed for quick errands if I don't want to bring the entire bag. The pouch doesn't work well as a standalone clutch since the snaps on the back of the pouch makes it appear clunky and not as pleasing aesthetically. Sorry for the bad bag pic. The purse organizer inside is making the bag oddly shaped.

Sounds like your Dooney's have worked out really well for you eggtart!

This sounds like a good plan dcooney. Usually when I buy a new bag, it has been at the mall. I usually go join DH for a coffee and we both look the bag over carefully.

I bought a nylon Prada bag at Barney's many years ago, and during our "over coffee examination" I found a tiny hole near the zipper track. Needless to say, it was exchanged for another.

So many beautiful bags Amor! Why in the world do I keep shopping in my closet? I wanna come shop in yours! ;)

It really was good for me to do a strategic purse analysis & keep a list for my phone! I am now up to six purses/clutches that I'm going to let go of when we get back to Chicago, thereby making room for a Sukey and a new red purse. It's time to let go of my red Kate Spade corduroy purse that I've had since college & pretty much only gets holiday/Valentine's Day use bc the shape & handles aren't great for my needs. Possibly an Alma or even a red Sukey if I can find such a unicorn at a price that is allowed but a better choice for me on a new red bag would be something that can fit a laptop comfortably. I'll know it when I find it!

LVk8 - your something purple was something really special. I didn't know that they released a purple in epi. What a fabulous find. Congrats!

Good luck in your house and job hunting!

Thanks Amor! The Cassis Epi is really pretty. LV made all kinds of purple Epi pieces with the pink interior that year. They also did the opposite & made pink Epi (I think called Grenache?) with purple interior too. I'm still completely obsessed with my Vernis Zippy wallet for everyday use & plan to use my Epi organizer as a clutch or when traveling/need to carry my passport

Also I really like the Burberry outlined in red. I agree that it's a little on the busy side but paired with a neutral outfit, it's fabulous! Count me in with Mimmy as wanting to shop your closet :D

Sounds like you're really figuring out what works for you LVk8. Looking forward to seeing the Sukey you pick and what you choose for your red bag.

I sent my first donation to the Fashion Project this week. I'm curious to see if I get credit for any of my items. I only sent in items on their accepted designer list. I'm kicking myself for just giving a Karen Zambos dress to the Goodwill, as this was on the list. Oh well, live and learn. I'm still glad that I'm continuing to control my closet though!

Oh, and because of the above, I'm 3 slg's out and no bags or slg's in this month. It's killing me! :)

I love my Cole Haan bags because they are so well made too. Your burberry is very pretty, but if you do not love it you could sell it.
