Consignment at best will offer you 50% of what they can sell things for (they need to make a profit somewhere). I would think about it in terms of the original price you paid & the bag's age, etc. For example a new canvas LV Speedy goes roughly for $1K. FP/Yoogis prob can't make more than $800 depending on size/age/condition. For example I bought my DA 25 in very good condition for $650 from FP in the not too distant past. So when consignment offers $400 it can feel like "WTF? A new one costs $1K" but if you originally bought it a decade ago when a new canvas Speedy cost more like $500, getting $400 back after years of use isn't such a bad deal! Plus you don't have to deal with any eBay/PayPal hassles. Or at least that's the way I think about it
I kind of want to go to Vegas. I'll admit, I haven't gone since I was a kid. The idea of all those shops is kind of exciting.
I've never been shopping in Vegas. I've gone there a couple times with friends but mostly have wound up at pool parties, lol
