2014 resolution - shopping from my own bag and wallet collection. Any one else?

Lvk8- Congrats on your lovely new sukey!
AmorChanel- The lizzy looks like a small bag but it is deep and can carry quite a lot. There are so many pockets inside and out that everything is organized as well .Both pairs of glasses have slip pockets , as well as the phone , keys, business cards, etc. The best part is it has a removable cross body strap and a removable leather shoulder strap.

Eggtartapproved- Good luck selling the bag. I had posted mine at $55.00 dollars and she asked if I would do 45 and I said 50 and it sold. I was a used leather coach zoe. Way less then it is worth but I just did not want the hassle of sending it off to the lady again as they do not sell for much. I am just trying to get rid of ones that are no longer my style. I want to have bags that I love and use often ,with the exception of a few special occasion bags .

On a quick note...LVK8 - holy cr@p! What a gorgeous find at a great price! The planets aligned for you - beautiful Sukey!

I'm still with Edie, but...

Changed my wallet. Lol. Not sure why I'm so darn wallet fickle! Am back with one that is a main go-to for me...my Burberry continental flap. Similar to the LV Sarah in layout.

I flip flop on preferring a flap wallet or a zip wallet. Just when I think I love one more than the other, I start pining for the other.

I like the easy access and classic look and layout of the flap, but also love the security and 'stashing' capacity of zip. Maybe I need a Coach Madison Skinny or an LV Insolite - a wallet with both flap and zip features!

What do you think? Is there a wallet out there to give me the best of both worlds?

Eehlers - I think you and I will always want to switch it up when it comes to wallets. Luckily we both have quite a few lovelies when it comes to wallets.

I compared it to pix from an old Fashionphile listing when I found it in the store (bless these smart phones) & the serial numbers, lining, stampings on hardware, etc are all correct. Yay!

This is one of the wallets I really like seeing again and again in this thread, It looks very stylish and elegant!

Love the combo! Honestly, I don't know if any one wallet will satisfy you. I don't mean that to sound harsh or mean in any way. I think it's the same as any of us being satisfied with just one bag. KWIM? I don't see anything wrong with having different styles and colors as long as they are being used... just like our bags. I say just embrace your love of wallets and keep rotating through your faves!

This is such a great bag to carry with kids. Looks chic but can take anything that the kids can accidentally spill on it.

I am excited and nervous for tomorrow. I called and told them I am bringing it back in person. I was hoping she would tell they got it in ,but no such luck. They do have it in lighter colors though. I'm not sure I want to do that with a vachetta leather with winter coming. I have been looking at some of there other styles and hope that they have them in stock.
Eggtartapproved- can you show me a picture of yours and tell me how it wears. I might try one of the other leathers. They have a no return policy ,so I want to research as much as possible before I go.

Thanks. It sort of starts out this way for me - with an extremely good condition bag (like brand-new), I have problems pricing it where it will sell and also satisfy how much I think it's worth. Eventually what I have in mind and what it will sell for will meet in the middle =)

Pics of my slg and tote (I have another slg in a peacock blue color that I got on my trip to Montreal in September but I don't have a picture of it). The bag is SUPER SUPER lightweight and from what I've noticed, the colors get more and more rich and patina really well. Super soft and has held up really well. I've had both for around 4 years now. I take the tote on vacation - she's easy to pack and if we go to the beach, sand just slides right off her. I store her rolled up and she unrolls and is ready to go with no weird wrinkles or anything (she has stuff in it, in the picture). There's a zipper pocket and 2 slip pockets. If the leather gets scratched or dinged, it doesn't actually bother me, whereas other bags, i freak out - on this leather though, it sort of adds to it and seems to blend in over time and add to the color. Hmm.. I don't think there's anything else I can tell you... I hope some of this helps and they can figure something out for you. When I first looked into them, their staff showed me some of their personal items that they've owned for years (jackets and bags) and they looked really beautiful and felt really soft.

In all fairness it wasn't that quick considering I've been silently lusting ever since louvigilante posted her red Sukey pic last month, and loudly lusting after road testing one in the Gucci outlet two weeks ago. But yes after doing some financial and purse analysis the right one appeared in the universe pretty quickly

Eehlers I like the Burberry wallet! If you are waiting to have a Matrix moment with wallets it will happen. I didn't even know I was waiting to have a Matrix moment. Like a man, the right wallet presents itself when you're not even looking? LOL. I haven't been up close and personal with a LV Insolite but maybe a Zippy Organizer would work for you? There's a zip around the outside but when you open it up the accordion part flaps open to one side and the big space with for phone/receipts/passport flaps open to the other. I'd take some more detailed pix of mine for you but my iPhone camera is acting wonky today

Cupcake not to enable right back at you but I say go for the Red Sukey on Yoogis! In all seriousness I hope a deserving TPF'er picks it up, based on my research they're just over $1600 on Gucci.com, $1200 in the outlet, range from $600-1100 on consignment/auction sites. And I like your Coachie too, great crossbody and top handle functionality wrapped up in just one bag which are my two fave handle types ❤

On the block when I head back to Chicago are 6 things - 3 purses & 3 clutches bc repetitive colors, non ideal sizes, etc. Definitely want to find a good red bag eventually & also to find a custom leather person to make a long crossbody strap for my hot pink MJ. So when all is said and done I'll have 11 purses (this one goes to eleven), 4 clutches, 5 SLGs. Probably still a lot but feel like I am keeping a good range of color/sizes/uses & don't have so many that a small/medium size closet can't handle it. Yay!

Moved into my leather Canterbury. Wi take a photo later. I love this bag, so light and easy.

Bake - saw hand and foot warmers in the dollar section of target. Ours didn't seem like we had a ton of them which is odd since its in the 80s here. Maybe we just didn't get a ton to begin with.
