Thanks all for the bag love! In all fairness it wasn't that quick considering I've been silently lusting ever since louvigilante posted her red Sukey pic last month, and loudly lusting after road testing one in the Gucci outlet two weeks ago. But yes after doing some financial and purse analysis the right one appeared in the universe pretty quickly :hbeat:

Eehlers I like the Burberry wallet! If you are waiting to have a Matrix moment with wallets it will happen. I didn't even know I was waiting to have a Matrix moment. Like a man, the right wallet presents itself when you're not even looking? LOL. I haven't been up close and personal with a LV Insolite but maybe a Zippy Organizer would work for you? There's a zip around the outside but when you open it up the accordion part flaps open to one side and the big space with for phone/receipts/passport flaps open to the other. I'd take some more detailed pix of mine for you but my iPhone camera is acting wonky today

Cupcake not to enable right back at you but I say go for the Red Sukey on Yoogis! :whistle: In all seriousness I hope a deserving TPF'er picks it up, based on my research they're just over $1600 on Gucci.com, $1200 in the outlet, range from $600-1100 on consignment/auction sites. And I like your Coachie too, great crossbody and top handle functionality wrapped up in just one bag which are my two fave handle types ❤

egg I love the blues...so pretty!!!

On the block when I head back to Chicago are 6 things - 3 purses & 3 clutches bc repetitive colors, non ideal sizes, etc. Definitely want to find a good red bag eventually & also to find a custom leather person to make a long crossbody strap for my hot pink MJ. So when all is said and done I'll have 11 purses (this one goes to eleven), 4 clutches, 5 SLGs. Probably still a lot but feel like I am keeping a good range of color/sizes/uses & don't have so many that a small/medium size closet can't handle it. Yay!

That's great you are finding your grounding. While this group was suppose to curb my lust to buy I think it helped figure out what I really wanted and helped get rid of stuff and figure out what really fit me.

I have a question for everyone: what bag of someone else's (from the group) made you take notice and want in your closet?

I think out of everyone's it's JennyErin's Pashli and Eehlers MbMJ Classic q hillier. Not far behind was the MC Wallace love.

Between this thread & some of the closet cleanout threads in the Wardrobe forum I have definitely gotten rid of a ton of stuff this year. Like....embarrassing how much stuff. I will probably never be someone who purely has a capsule wardrobe bc I love having color options but I have pared down tremendously. And from watching however many Netflix episodes of What Not To Wear it's like c'mon now already, I'm in my 30s now, no more fast fashion, no more ridic short hemlines, no more plunging necklines in the regular rotation. Even though I "know" these things this group has actually helped me get there! And without judgment from people I know in the real world.

Also TPF has helped curb me from looking at Facebook. Instead of idly looking at my FB feed when I have random free time I look at the TPF app instead. So I'm no longer rolling my eyes at people whose faces I like but who annoy me on social media, lol.

Great question! I love everyone's bags and have wanted many in my closet, but the one that haunts me (in a good way) is cupcakegirl's Bal bag

Thanks! They only release a couple of colors each season and somehow whenever I'm ready to buy something, it's always a blue shade haha. I really hope they're able to figure something out for you. I'd love to add a tote similar to the one you currently have but you're right, they are not cheap, even on sale so I really have to justify my purchase when I buy from them. When I was in Montreal they had way more than what i have at home so I got to see more of their leathers and would love to add an item from the leather line you bought from, even if it's an slg. Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Carrying my Coach vintage bag today, glad I didn't let this one go!

I also received the Christmas gift items that I ordered from Belgium today.

They are great! A bit rough-hewn looking, but this is what adds to their charm. I think DH's aunt and uncle are going to like these! Group pic (I know DH's aunt is not a tPF member). ;)ImageUploadedByPurseForum1414178039.184106.jpg

There was no sale when we were there . I had hoped that they would get the same bag in . I really liked it. This is the last open weekend we will have for a while that we can go . So fingers crossed they have a good supply of bags .

Lvk8 - lol about FB, I'm not on it as much anymore either because if TPF. I agree, it's made me think about clothing too. I got rid of a lot of clothing that isn't age appropriate. I'm in my thirties and don't need to rock that halter top without a back anymore. :) lol
