My daughter took this photo because on a pool of black everything she said my bag’s pop of color looks fabulous. While my assistant and the driver were loading the car, a younger woman maybe in her late 20s complimented my bag and said “love your birkin! The oversized 35s are so back!” We came from a business trip and was very tired so I just smiled and thanked her. But deep inside I’m screaming “the 35s were never out of fashion! It’s a classic! And it’s not oversized for goodness sake!” Anyway, even if I weren’t tired, of course I wouldn’t say that. But am I the only one tired of hearing and reading online about the 35s coming back or the mere fact some call it oversized? Lol!

@hermesgeek, I think the 35 is and always was a classic! What a great pic from your daughter - you have a gorgeous Birkin. I can only imagine wanting to say some of the same things you did, good thing you were tired, she might have gotten the rough side of your tongue :P It’s fun to imagine saying whatever we want sometimes! Thanks for posting, it made me want to travel!:flowers:

While we were in Chicago with our son, we popped in to the Hermes in the Making exhibit at Union Square. It was such a treat to see artisans making bags and saddles, printing scarves, doing spa repairs, and so many other aspects of the brand.

I tried to attach a video of the scarf printing but it was too large. I'm not the best photographer so I know these pictures don't capture the how interesting the exhibit was, but it was definitely a treat to visit.

Wow @loh!! Thanks a million for these pictures! I was planning to go to Chicago for this and a fabulous surrealist painter’s exhibit at the Chicago Art Institute, but family matters kept me from attending. Your pics make the sting of missing both a little less. And you are a great photographer! Sorry the video wouldn’t send, but I think tpf limits file size on some things - still fun to see Cheval in process of being printed.

Thanks again - how fun to see even if in absentia! Sounds like you all had a fun trip - and you look great in your pic!!
