I suspect it is a mule thing - anytime there is nothing on the back of our foot to hold a shoe in place our toes work double time to keep the shoe on. That’s partly why flip flops elicit gasps of horror from foot dr’s
-flip flops are problematic in other ways too. It’s a shame, as I love mules and flip flops! As far as the lining rubbing your feet if you end up find the mules comfortable, there are now so many kinds of socks, one being a front half of the foot sock. They don’t show, and they might solve one problem. Would love to see if you get!Thank you for the info! They think of everything. I didn’t even know that exist! I don’t think I’ll like that kind of sock though. Whoever invented it must have gotten inspiration from those no-show socks that won’t stay on and slide to the front of the foot.
Just one more thought - I think the half sock has a silicone ”band” that supposedly stops the slide. Don’t know how they work. I found exactly one pair of full no-show socks that actually never slide or come off my heel - Ondo is the brand (no financial ties, just a happy customer

Gosh I'm loving the Naturelle color of my Kelly 28 in Vache Liegee! She's sporting a new twilly today. I love how neutral she is so that most twillies look amazing and change her look completely! This twilly is Cliquetis, and I adore how the "Hermes Paris" just happened to land on the handle

It does make some noise d/t the kelly hardware. It doesnt fall off my foot, maybe because of its narrow pointed shape.
