You are very lucky to love Brides de Gala! It seems to pop up in some form almost EVERY collection! I don't know how many more ways H can rework this pattern .
[For the record, I like BdG also since it is CLASSIC H, but I don't consider it a personal grail]

Turandot, on the other hand looks amazing in just about every colorway like you said. Hopefully they will bring this one back as a reissue some day.



Wow! 12 years! You are quite the patient one! This SE of Aube is stunning. I have a non-SE in muted tones and I wear it a lot. Aube in general is an under-the-radar grail but it ties wonderfully.

Would love to see yours Bostonjetset I'm a huge fan of Aube, wish I had more.

This is the best discussion ever, the concept of a Grail , its procurement and eventual suitability or not .
I never thought I would a Grail , but then came the yellow Concours d'Etriers shawl and I suddenly knew what it felt like to want a scarf that much , and paid dearly to have it quickly.Never regretted it .
Those elusive ones that folk wait for ,those that just aren't out there, that's something I haven't got around to yet .

Yellow C d'E sounds lovely! The hunt is all sometimes. And it keeps you looking all over the place. I'm optimistic that soon or later everything will show up. But will the condition or price be what you want. That can be the really difficult decision.

Yes great cw , others have figures that are monochrome esp beige , I like these in the contrasting colors better, nice !

Looks like a still from an early European art movie. Never cease to be amazed by how the whole atmosphere of a scarf can change when the H colour fairies do their work.

It's an old photo but as you can see it's very yellow and bright. It will come out again when the weather picks up .
It's one of my favourite H pieces , very Springtime !

Oh I love it! Wow it's really fabulous. I can see why you love it. Thank you for posting it. It's one of those second skin scarves of yours I referred to in another thread. When it's right it's right eh? Beautiful.

I'm so extraordinarily lucky to have added to my Grail collection. Some of which are not the typical Grail, but are to me because they were gifts from my Aunt as she downsized her collection and I will treasure them forever. When last I posted in this thread I had just purchased Beverly Hills a Hermes, but I'm so excited to also add (left to right) Les Cles, Bolduc, Les Poulains, Presentation de Chevaux, and Armeria! Les Poulains is the most recent addition, authenticated by the always wonderful Marietouchet and it arrived today! I'd love to also add a few more but if I don't, I am so happy with this! Thank you for letting me share

OOooh, so glad you have Armeria. Isn't this an interesting scarf? MIne is black and bronze. And I love love love your bolduc in the right colors! Would love to see it in action, if you have pix.

Yes I love it!! Armeria was one of my Aunt's favorites and it is the most "loved" shall we say. Is Armeria a typical Grail? I only included it because I know it was one of her favorites and is now one of mine.

Don't have any pictures, mostly because I forget to take them but I will definitely try to remember the next time I take one out!
