At first I wasn't sure what you were talking about...I was thinking "there are no masks in this pattern!" but then I realized you meant the Mexican masks on my wall in the photo!!| haha. The main reason Siam was a MUST for me, though, is because it is absolutely my favorite country ever visited. There is nothing like it.
I DO love Tresor Royal du Benin and there is a lovely dark green colorway that I'd love to add to my collection. Of course I still have several other big grails first...and then the new loves each season....it never ends!

I searched for about 2 years for Siam to show up in a combo of colorway/price/condition that was acceptable to me. I know some wait many many years for their grails though.

I've given up on Coupons Indiens after I found a Portes du Palais in a very similar cw, and scratched my very limited geometric itch with a Karnak moussie and my lovely Ailes de la Soie.
I've since seen it in another cw that would be a nice addition to my collection, but wasn't really tempted. I'm clearly over it.
I've still not found my last remaining Grail, and who'd have thought a random Gavroche would be the Unicorn?? But I've not given up on my little, bright yellow Piques Fleuri de Provence. It's been over a year, which may be no time at all in Grailland. BJS is right. Missed out on one back in November/December; the condition didn't suit. This one I am totally not over.

Ultimately found it. I suppose there is always hope but I'm feeling a bit discouraged at the moment. Truly I have been searching for years and can't find Presentation de chevaux in the grays ( thanks again MaiTai) nor mythiques Phoenix in neutrals ( anthracite/noir). Makes me crazy.
It also makes me wonder what grail of somebody else's we each may have hidden away ( unaware) in a closed orange box.
Gave up on one grail after the price went into the stratosphere - at least for me. Otherwise, I just keep the list handy and regularly search the Bay and other sites. It's just not an obsession anymore. That period of my H life is over, thankfully.
Yes! That pink Coupons Indiens that dear MaiTai has. ARGH, it has remained elusive.
I have pretty given up on Vert Paperoles CSGM, Zavabushka, and Tohu Bohu CSGM in turquoise. I am willing to pay $100-200 over retail, but that is it. $2.5K for a CSGM that is worn is not worth it.

I have an ELeK 90 in a muted c/w and rarely wear it. My dear SA brought it in for herself and it was the last last last last 90 available in the US. It sat on her hold shelf forever and she graciously let me buy it when I mentioned I was looking for ELeK.
I have since added more ELeK to my collection, mostly CSGMs, but I cannot bear to part with this scarf. Whenever I go though my collection and cull the "mistakes" I pick this one up, look at the design, and put it back. Every time. Sigh.
