Reporting to base , my grail arrived today!
Turandot in blue and orange is gorgeous and the big surprise is how lovely the white accents are . It was dark when I opened it so I'll have another look tomorrow and take some photos .
It couldn't be more different than the red of course ,so no guilt about getting a second colour way.
Very pleased it seems to be in good condition apart from a musty odour, it was a fair price and a bit of a gamble.

Good job frou frou! Can't wait to see.

It's this nifty database that catalogs Hermes scarves. MarieTouchet gave me "homework" of sorts in my early days on the forum and asked me to contribute to it. It's a really valuable resource. And it's nice because you can create a folder with pictures of all your scarves. I find it very handy because I am still very much into only getting scarves that bring something unique to my wardrobe. So now, whenever I get a new scarf, I send her a picture of it if she doesn't already have it cataloged.

Ah, you mean our website. Yes, I've supplied quite a lot of photos there! I haven't looked there a while, I didn't realize we could upload by ourselves now and that there was the folder option. The lady who has done all the work is amazing.

We can't. Pics are emailed to a lady who uploads them. Yes! A lot of work! It's a great site.

The parental Christmas scarf has arrived! You were right frou frou; it is truly beautiful. I think it suits me, it's a lovely red, and the blues are exquisite. Hellooo contrast hem. [emoji173]️

This looks great on you! I, too, am a sucker for a contrast hem!

Thanks for letting me share [emoji8]
I love this! So fresh and modern. *applause*

What's an HSCI page? I've been HSCI since maybe 2002, so I'm not sure what you mean. I used to have spreadsheets, I should dig an old one up, but it will be a lot of work to update, it's been a few years. What I always do, though, is any time I get anything H, as soon as it gets home I photograph it, from multiple angles. I have thousands of photos!

There are some scarves over the years that I had and sold that I would love to see again. I would love to find the Central Park by Toutsy in the green and periwinkle cw (not with the yellow). One scarf I fell in love with too late was Dans les Branches de l'Ombu. DS1 selected it in the light blue/white cw for me when I took him to a sale years ago and it has turned out to be my all-time winner...it pretty much goes with everything I ever wear, and it's my ski scarf, too. I wish I had more of that design.
You sold Central Park? :confused1::confused1::confused1: say it ain't so! I would love that one too.

Triplets! With me and PbP. We need to all go out together to a turandot opera to celebrate!

Pirula - gorgy as always! It really suits you and looks fantastic with the jacket you are wearing. You cleaned up on scarves this Christmas!
