Scarves Your Grail Scarf

My favourite silk of all comes out at Christmas , a grail of grails for me , red Turandot.
I've wanted a second c'way for ages and have a shortlist of colours I'd like :
The blue and orange would be lovely .

I don't really have proper grails , just obsessions that can suddenly disappear to make way for a new one .

This is one in tier 4. Impulsive buy. Good price. I saw tango Tosca wearing it in the past few weeks. Hers is slightly different but this can also do Christmassy or just wintery depending on how you fold it. And now I'm on ban from eBay purchases. eBay is so dangerous. Well with your new foray into vermilion and cousins I think you would adore the red Turandot and it will be stunning with your dark hair.
I know what you mean about Ebay , but it's great fun and I always sell on scarves that aren't totally pleasing me.
I wasn't being honest by saying I'd like a blue Turandot in the conditional tense, I should have said I've bought one.
Should arrive in a week or so .

Any tips on which colours work best with it ? I'm expecting it to be good with navy and most scarves work with my gold Evelyne.

I'm loving your new Winter white beauty , especially with the scarf ring it's so chic.

Oh good for you! Two perfect turandot. That's great. Yes navy is perfect. The lighter blue is a bit of a chameleon color that can pick up many different blues. Let me see if I have a photo of it with my Chanel jacket. Well not wearing it but here on the hanger. It would look lovely with a white silk blouse to pick up the white flowers as well.

That is just the height of luxe-chic Pocketbookpup I imagine heads will turn when you walk in wearing that .I don't have any Chanel jackets but it'll be fun to see what works, and the white shirt combo will be excellent .

I have so many scarves now, don't think there is a scarf that I would pay any price for ... (Tier 1) according to PBP.

I actually prefer to try scarves on before buying now, so that has somewhat limited my recent purchases.
Maybe also reaching somewhat of a saturation point?

Congrats! I have actually gotten a lot of use out of my neige during the last month - I have the one with the navy border...

I have been a very bad girl frou frou. Very bad. Although it was just a temporary blip because I had bonuses for working extra in the past year. So I blew it all. And now I have to cut back. At least I tried to focus on in good versatile investment pieces. Although it seems ridiculous to speak of investment in these terms.

But thank you for your kind compliment. You can see that the scarf will pick up on many shades of blue.

You were so right to go for the lifetime items now , you'll still be wearing them when you're my age . Excellent use of bonuses accrued through your hard work.
I was buying good investment pieces in my twenties and thirties and I still have some of those items .
Then something went awry and I had some disastrous years of buying bizarre and outré pieces .Still have a couple of those too.
Now my style has settled into what feels right I've abandoned the designer clothes for designer scarves and trinkets like jewellery and bags

You have been prolific my dear. Nothing wrong with keeping the economy going! And neige is a great classic choice to have in the closet. I have been thinking about the holiday scarves for a while but something else is always catching my attention. Maybe this coming year though!

Reds look so lovely on you dear! And TURANDOT!! One of the grailiest of grails for me [although I would go for the blue/orange for myself...or maybe the deep purple one].

This is a lovely pattern and very neutral colorway. I think you will get a lot of wear out of it. I understand totally about the Bay....VERY DANGEROUS. Although, aside from grails, the prices can be too good to pass up....one could make 2 or 3 "mistakes" on the Bay for the price of one "mistake" in the boutique. And of course there are some older designs that are just must-haves. AHHHH it never ends does it? LOL

This is a lovely pattern and very neutral colorway. I think you will get a lot of wear out of it. I understand totally about the Bay....VERY DANGEROUS. Although, aside from grails, the prices can be too good to pass up....one could make 2 or 3 "mistakes" on the Bay for the price of one "mistake" in the boutique.
