Yes I call them maybe somedays. Third tier for me. Things come into and leave that level quite often.

So there is
Tier one- I must have this at all costs come hell or high water
Tier two- I hope it shows up someday and isn't completely ridiculously priced but I'd probably buy it even if it was
Tier three- maybe someday I'd like to have one of these- a very fluid tier
Tier four- I was an impulsive fool and just bought this but deep down I know I really always wanted it, really

Words to live by!!!!

I would say this is my grail 140cm format and I am so thrilled to score it from the store 😊😊😊
Thanks for letting me share herewith the dip-dye Cavalcadour multicolor pink/violet/corail 😄😄😄

Sooo beautiful - had no idea dipdyes came in this size! Am the lucky owner of two 90 dipdyes, one green and one rusty/golden Dies et Hore, love the soft drape - assume the 140'is even softer - enjoy your haul😄

What a perfect description and creating of a ranking system - will be adopted immediately! The downfall is to let too many scarves reach Tier one! Guilty of paying a ridiculous price for a light yellow Farandole, convinced it would never come up again - I dont look good in yellow, and the summer being so short it only comes out a couple of times during the whole year. Similarly the Passage a Moscou with too much gold, but because the motive so lovingly depicts Moscow how I saw it when visiting there times, it had to be mine, literally at almost all costs, Having snowflakes on it, needless to say it only comes out during winter time!

How unusual! I never realised it came in grey also , and it certainly is a special grail .
It looks so good on you.

Mine is the one you probably don't like , red/orange with ditto waistcoats and emerald green . I was totally indiscriminate back then , and always having loved orange I went for it . I still love it but yours is so much easier to wear .
Thank you, froufrou. Can we take a peek at your Napoleon CW? I don't hate orange!!

Aha! Great categories.

This is the best c/w of Napoleon I've seen as well. Grey is the best...so neutral and not at all harsh like black can be. Perfection, MomaS!

This pretty much sums it up perfectly!
Thank you, BJS. I'm learning that the darker the gray the better for me. I have been pursuing my studies with a huge selection of long-sleeves tees from Gap! LOL

Mele Kalikimaka. A very merry Christmas to all of you.

Moma, I have had Napoleon on my silkie list for a long time in the light pink cw. Also love this one very much. Have not seen it before but it looks so wearable! I too love gray and may add this someday. So many scarves that are nice to have. So little money left on the tree after the kids are taken care of. Wish I had done more hoarding when we were a tink couple. Sigh.
Thank you, perfumegirl. Slow and steady. And sometimes impulsive. Do not look back with regrets! :balloon:

My favourite silk of all comes out at Christmas , a grail of grails for me , red Turandot.
I've wanted a second c'way for ages and have a shortlist of colours I'd like :
The blue and orange  would be lovely .

I don't really have proper grails , just obsessions that can suddenly disappear to make way for a new one .

This is one in tier 4. Impulsive buy. Good price. I saw tango Tosca wearing it in the past few weeks. Hers is slightly different but this can also do Christmassy or just wintery depending on how you fold it. And now I'm on ban from eBay purchases. eBay is so dangerous. I'm going back to In store purchases only and because my store is a 2 hr drive I hope that will cut down on my purchases. ImageUploadedByPurseForum1451152765.726305.jpg

Well with your new foray into vermilion and cousins I think you would adore the red Turandot and it will be stunning with your dark hair.
I know what you mean about Ebay , but it's great fun and I always sell on scarves that aren't totally pleasing me.
I wasn't being honest by saying I'd like a blue Turandot in the conditional tense, I should have said I've bought one.:graucho:
Should arrive in a week or so .

Any tips on which colours work best with it ? I'm expecting it to be good with navy and most scarves work with my gold Evelyne.

I'm loving your new Winter white beauty , especially with the scarf ring it's so chic.
