I got it! The highest of my grails. You guys will probably be like huh? But I wanted it from the moment I saw it. I think on tango tosca.

I had an older sister when I was young back in the late 60s early 70s. I idolized and adored her like all little sisters do. She was pretty and smart and sweet. And she wore the coolest outfits. Just like the girls in printemps ete 69 automne hiver 70. And of course it had to include Colvert.

Another neutral score! I like the gals posing in it. It looks tres chic and elegant on you PbP. So, do you have any more grails coming?

This is such a gorgeous colorway!!!! You wear it well [not that I'm surprised because you wear everything well!] and it's nice that it has such a personal story behind it. :D

Thank you both. No, MYH, no more grails on the way for now. I'm hoping the new large ex libris silk will take the place if Mai tai's black and neutral ex libris csgm. But of course we haven't seen any yet. I just have a few more grails that I might or might not ever get and that's fine. They are more second tier grails. All of my true grails are complete. I would say this is my grail 140cm format and I am so thrilled to score it from the store 😊😊😊
Thanks for letting me share herewith the dip-dye Cavalcadour multicolor pink/violet/corail 😄😄😄

Woo hoo! You got it! Awesome. Isn't it the softest coziest thing ever? I have been looking at others online and I haven't seen anything else that really grabs me yet. This is a good one. So glad to be your twin. [emoji322][emoji322][emoji322]

Congratulations!

I totally understand. I have the gav in navy of this print, it was a must-have, I love the fashion of the late 60s - early '70s

Very stylish, PbP! And I like the unusual cw. I saw a greenish cw of it on the Japan bay recently but other grails blocked my view...

Don't you just love the Japan postal system? I ordered something on Sunday and it arrived today just in time for Christmas cheer!

On my, I adore that vintage 28. I remember seeing it on the website on my way down to Tysons and I just had to have it. For me, well I started college in 1970 with aspirations of being a fashion illustrator. These girls were just my style of illustration ☺ and the scarf screamed to me. I was so happy to have found it. I have probably never taken it out of its box.

Yes. The Japan postal systems rocks. The US not so much. A package from Singapore made it to the US in two days and now the US has no info 5 additional dats later. boo.

Oh take it out of the box! Those girls want to be out and about!

You are correct. I love and wear my scarves normally. There is something about this one, maybe it's the red that doesn't sit my coloring. Framing is a great idea.
This thread is moving so fast, I think I missed a Napoleon discussion. Beekmanhill - is this the navy or black border? I like it. I searched for the right Napoleon (there are a lot of CWS I don't like at all!) and finally found it. For me it's the gray bordered one. Gray is my new obsession! And the red and the teal waistcoats are great. Here's the only picture I can find on my laptop:

PT - congrats on your mint napoleons. I'm also a sucker for a bee motif so can understand your desire to hunt those down.

I have something to share with you all today. No, Coup de Fouet has not shown up yet. But I am super excited about that one.

The same enabler ... Who shall not be named ... Oh what the heck ... I'm outing her! ... PbP ... (Watch out people she will cost you) alerted me that this one was available. I've always been interested in it because how could I not love a scarf that's called J'aime mon carre? Here it is.

Ok. If only I could be her and wear scarves as tops braless! Not going to happen ever! Unless miracle surgery is performed first.
View attachment 3219923

That's ok. I'll settle for her flair and joie de vivre pose.
