I've wore the brown yesterday (just around the shoulders and knot to one side) but I need to experiment with these a bit, they seem to be a bit thicker than the newer regular silks. I think the design would be be stunning as a top or tied over the right dress on the hip...I'll be thinking

Pay backs my dear. I'm sure you cost me 10x as much. I do know the way of folding them together and had just tried it with my two different Jardin Anglais. Glad you saved me from falling down that rabbit hole for now.

I have a get better organized. I probably posted more on scarf of the day. Here are two I found on my phone. First from summer worn in my belt. Second trying it with my Chanel jacket.

I need to slow down a bit as my money tree is all wilted HAHA. I was just at H in Greenwich yesterday and was able to leave with "just" a bow tie from men's FW15. Luckily they did not have much in for SS16 scarves yet and I was able to resist the few colorways they did have of new stock.

It is a beautiful pattern, particularly in a dip dye. Read the condition carefully. There are issues.

If I love a piece and it's a great price then small defects and S stamp aren't a problem .
Of course this isn't true of everyone ,I know.
Several of my most worn and loved items have had issues.

Absolutely. I have a sale scarf and a few with imperfections that don't bother me. As long as the person is honest and the defects are reflected in the price it's all good.

Thank you, I can't not wear scarves (sorry for the double neg) I'd feel too guilty but cleaning the precious older ones is more worrying

Perhaps you can frame yours and enjoy it as art, it sounds lovely.

You are correct. I love and wear my scarves normally. There is something about this one, maybe it's the red that doesn't sit my coloring. Framing is a great idea.

That was the cw I was after, to me, just gorgeous in every way. I think it'd look magnificent as art (esp in my living room ha ha). Here's to Napoleon lovers everywhere :salute: (not sure my Russian ancestors would aprove but hey, I have Lenin on my wall too )
