The main reason I try and stick with all silk is that I have facial hair and thus cashmere always pills on me. I bought a beautiful alpaca/silk scarf in Peru and every time I wear it it gets fuzzier :-( With the price of CS from H, I prefer not to risk it. They are just so expensive; I could almost buy 3 90s for the price of 1 CSGM or 2 90s for the price of a CSPM. And since I am a sucker for the beautiful designs that H puts out, I know I would not be happy with just one pattern for the whole year when I could buy multiple in silk.

Oh of course, Bostonjetset! That makes perfect sense!!!! I so hope the will release an all silk version:cool: And, yes the cashmere silk prices are such a premium!!!

I thought so...it is beautiful! .I would love to find an H bag in this color/leather combo. It looks wonderful ;)

I wish you good luck. Raisin is fabulous in a lot of leathers, but Epsom brings out a light in it. I also find it very durable; after many years of active use, the corners show only the littlest of scuffing (and all that happened in Paris in close quarters with stone architecture).

OMG OMG OMG!!

For all my fellow C'est la Fete lovers, H has released a new Daisuke Nomura design!! It's called Caducee Rock and whilst it is not AS wonderful as CLF, it's still pretty fabulous and features similar design motifs. The colorways fabulous as well. However, it's a CSPM [in the men's dept I believe they are 100cm rather than the 90s that they used to have back in the day for ladies] so I may have to wait and see if it is re-issued in a 70 or 90 as I prefer all silk.

BJS - I was so excited to click on the link and then I saw SNAKES! Oh dear...it's a no go for me. :nogood:

I understand dear. Snakes are definitely not for everyone. I feel the same way about anything to do with bugs. Hugo G's insect scarf = eeeeek to me HAHA

So easy to get distracted with H scarves. I have to write down my must-haves as something new always seems to come along!

DYING!!!! So gorgeous. Lucky you! There are not even many pix on the web for me to drool over. Anthracite! Is there *also* a black? Thanks so much.

When/if I ever figure out how to post pix (my last efforts have been failures...) I will post a pic of my GM - I have the blue border, red interior one. It is a fabulous GM, which I pounced on - in spite of the fact that I never wear blue or red. Not the smartest purchase, I must admit!!

I have a couple of the 90 cm also - never really found a good cw for me, but again, loved it - and that jacquard...

I wish it had gone to me.... Someday we will be able to get ours Pirula!

Oh, I like this design...very cool with the origami! I hope you find it;)

What a perfect Grail and story!

This is such a fun fanciful design! I hope that H reissues it for you!

The ultra violet is one of my HG's too.

Oh, that must be painful to have let them go.... But, your Les Pegases collection is magical!!!! I hope to be your Violet twin someday.

I got my uv Pegase not too long ago. I would have to check the receipt but I want to say maybe last summer? I really loved the design when it first came out but had a wedding to plan which sucked up all my cash, you know how that goes. So I tried to find it later and kicked myself when I was told that it was sold out of the boutique. One day I checked h.com for it, I don't know why, fools luck found it and the red cw. I bought both. The short hills boutique apparently had them reprinted for their store. I think the red is still online and you can probably check with customer service to see if any stores in the country still has the purple in inventory. Good luck! I know what it is like to lust after this scarf. It is by far my most used scarf - and I have something like 50 h silks now so that is saying a lot.

Ooooh, looking forward to seeing your Venezia!

Oh, please post open pictures of the scarf as well as mod shots!!! What a wonderful DH!
I'm so excited for you:graucho::cool:

Here you go! I am not posting a full photo of the scarf flat due to the snakes. My aunt has a snake phobia so I understand completely! There are scales visible in the modeling shot, however - I hope that does not bother anybody, but please let me know if it does and I will remove it.

There are some details in this scarf that might appeal to fans of C'est la Fete - skulls in particular. I have included a photo of the scarf tied, plus some details of the corners in a bias fold. Please pardon my casual t-shirt!

Thanks for posting the mod shot! It looks fabulous on you! And the casual t shirt actually adds to the rocker vibe of this particular design.

I LOVE this on you!!! And, it looks perfect with your Tee. Thanks for showing the corners:graucho:

+1
Thank you! The t-shirt is Alexander McQueen for Target so it kind of fits in with the edgy theme of the scarf, even though I'm wearing it while rearranging my closet. :D
It is perfect wit it. I love a lot of Alexander McQueens designs. For their rocker sensibility:graucho:

How exciting cavalla! I'm actually jealous. Best of luck on your move. Where in India will you be? Collecting the YoI scarves takes a little patience, but they do come up!

Thank you! That's really sweet of you. We'll be based in Bangalore. I mainly visited the North and the West on my previous trips so I didn't know that much about the South, but I used H as my travel guide on my last trip, i.e., exploring the chevre leather regions/cities, getting inspired by the scarf stories, and so far it's helped me to get acquainted with the area so I'll continue doing that! :D:D

I will pull out a few ...

Looking forward to it! I've always been amazed with your knowledge of H scarves.

Congratulations on your up coming move to India! I also love APdP! I own two CW's of CSGM. And, I am also a huge big cat lover.

Thank you so much Greengoddess. Which 2 cws of APdP do you have? I have the bleu/turquoise/rose pâle (I can't resist blue) and am thinking about adding the noir/beige/rouge to my collection. Looks like we enjoy some similar themes, I should follow your collection, maybe I'll get some inspirations from you--as if there are not already enough scarves out there that we want! :p:p :laugh:
