It's so pretty! It looked like maybe the Flots one to me. Paris?

It was sold out in all of France, the SA at fsh checked, so I ordered it while I was away and got it last night. It's perfect with GT and gold. I didn't want to create another grail that I have to overpay for some day. So total with de la mer and duty free: one 140, three 90s, 3 gavroche, 5 twillies, one scarf ring, two bracelets, one belt, one horn necklace, and one Kelly.

Thank you for your sweet compliments. Here are my storage trays. They are from the container store. The deep open large tray. Here is the link. They stack, I actually have 6 total on two shelves. Each hold 10 90s. They work for all sizes including 140s. I'm keeping the csgm and moussies in their boxes. They are so delicate.

Man, your blue scarves are a sight for sore eyes PbP. J'adore. I think you need to start your own thread soon!

I really enjoyed everyone's pix of C'est la fete. I have the surteint in CW15 still in the box with the tags on because I wasn't convinced it was the right CW for me. Now I know it's true!! The blue, prune, gris, or ciel CWs would be much better, so now the hunt is on!

I don't mind having a long wishlist. I think I would panic if I'd achieved all my grails!:laugh::laugh:

I am not as into the surtient CLF either but at this point I may take what I can get if it's at a reasonable price! haha. Which is CW15 ? Is that the navy? The regular prune one is the best of the lot I think [although every one is gorgeous] and would look fabulous on you! Good luck hunting.

I LOVE your c/w of Chasse en Inde! Grey is one of my fave neutrals.

Glad to hear you had a fab time in Paris; it seems like you really stocked up, too! Another Kelly? Can't wait to see it. What color?

Your blue scarves make me melt - the Dans un Jardin Anglais is particularly vibrant, and I'm pretty sure the scarf just above it is the gorgeous Coup de Fouet. I think H does blues better than any other color. Those scarves just seem to light up on their own. :smile1:

CW15 is khaki and has bits of yellow/gold in it. It's so hard to photograph - it comes out much lighter in pix.

I agree - the prune/marine CW04 is the one for me. I hope you and I don't ever have to fight over one! :bagslap:

+1! Please don't tell us that you're waiting for MYH to finish her entire scarf showcase before you begin yours! :graucho:

Thank you everyone. Blue and blue green are my favorite colors.

I will go next after MYH if she wants me to, but I'll warn you that I'm not as eloquent nor do I take such stunning photos nor do I have such a fabulous variety of accessories to go with my scarves.

Yes, one of the scarves is coup de fouet. Thank you BJS for your compliment about CenI. It's still online I think. Mine was a bottom of the drawer find. I watched Age of Adeline on the plane home. I can't say I recommend this movie. But Blake Lively wore this scarf and in the most casually elegant way. I must find a photo in the Internet.

I did stock up in Paris. I researched ahead of time which items were more cost effective in Europe. Silver jewelry is quite a savings as are belts and other leather goods. And of course you always pick up a few scarves. Most of my scarves were things that were no longer available here. I try to keep my US purchases to items that don't differ too much in price- scarves and costume jewelry.

I was very lucky to get another Kelly in Gris tortourelle and at European prices. With the euro so low over the past few years I embarked on creating a small collection of forever bags. This bag completes my new Kelly/ birkin purchases. I have all of my neutrals covered and a signature color-colvert. The only things left on the list : something Hermes red that has to be vintage, and something very casual perhaps an Evelyn.

And now I'm on ban until spring- probably April.

Here's miss GT.

Haha. I found a photo of Blake lively in the CenI. Delightful how she tied it. It looks like the other scarf she wears is a Della cavalleria. Both recent reissues of classics. Call me picky buy couldn't the wardrobe people find real vintage scarves?

Hi cavalla, I own CW# 10 Violet/Orange/Vert, and CW #07 Bordeaux/Vert/Mauve. The Bordeaux was a huge surprise for me. I usually stay away from anything in the red, orange or pink CW's do tho my coloring. But, my SA urged me to try it. And, he was right:laugh: it looked great! I was wanting the green originally. But, I do own a lot of green. So, the Bordeaux was something new for my waredrobe. I love your CW, too! They really came out with so many wonderful CW's for this design. I NEVER thought I would spend the money to own TWO of the same design in CSGM. But, I did:laugh: I am a rather newbie to H scarves and CSGM's ( 1 1/2 years). So, my collection isn't very big. But, I'm working on it:graucho:
We do seem to like similar themes! Which is so fun...I love gaining insight and inspiration from my fellow scarfies! I would be honored if I could ever inspire anyone else. You are right though...I don't think either one of us needs to add more wants to our scarf list. But, we will...

Now that you mentioned the violet/orange/ vert, I can't get it off my mind.. My original plan was to get the purple marwari and the beige/noir APdP. But now... Things are getting complicated! I love violet but it's harder to pair it with my wardrobe so I should get only one between these 2. Hmmm.... The red you have is pretty too, but like you, I don't think red works well with me so I didn't even consider it a possibility. I tried to google it but more purple kept popping up!:drool::nogood::nogood: Do you have some mod shots with the red somewhere? I would love to see how it looks.

Ever since I started collecting the H carres, I knew that it would be impossible for me to stick to one carre one design policy. As I think of it, every season there's always one design that I would pick up more than one cw (so far 3 seasons). I just accept it and make peace with myself when it comes to H scarves... :p

Thanks for posting this! I love seeing other peoples storage methods, and of course amazing collections!
We are exact twins on 2 in that box, LOL.

Lucky for me, we fly back to US from the terminal at LHR with no H boutique, so I am probably safe from duty-free.
