I have finally discovered what my grail scarf is: Amours in the bluebell colorway, which is on eBay right now. I'm terrified that even though I've signed up for a sniper service, the price is going to get bid up so high that it'll be beyond me.

If anyone has any tips or suggestions (even if it's just something like "Remember to breathe"), I'll gladly accept them.

I have decided that I really NEED to have the Hola Flamenca scarf in red/black. I recently missed out on one on ebay, it went for over $500 from memory, so if anyone sees one I would be very happy if you could let me know..

I love the strong colors in that scarf...but be sure to have it authenticated as it has been widely faked!:boxing:

The scarf was won on eBay about a week before the Hubby-Like Object took the picture. He knew nothing about the scarf at the time. Neither did the new kitty, Miss Beemer. :smile1:

One of life's great coincidences. Hubby is impressed, but Beemer could care one way or the other. It's just another scarf to her. :nogood:

Miss Beemer is adorable - looks like she was the model for the scarf! I love those tiny mice in the corner!

:) That's what occurred to me immediately when I first saw the scarf on eBay, though the picture hadn't yet been taken.

Now that she's older (she was only about nine months old at the time: now she's seven years), she looks even more like the cat in the scarf.

I'd really like to have the full set of "mosaic" scarves that Hermes did over that period. I have one of the others -- it's not titled, but I refer to it as the "Beast Mosaic" because it looks like the famous one from the ancient Hunting Baths at Leptis Magna (now near the Tripoli region in Libya):

I think I got this one from the Hermes boutique in Zurich, in 2001 or thereabouts. Ah, Bahnhofstrasse... :heart:
