I have & will. I got two dc'ed bags in great condition (Croisette GM & Epi Yellow large noe) for great prices. For current collection bags I would probably buy new for the most part. I do hate brand new vachetta it's just to white so if a bag is slightly used i'd be more tempted to get it.

ITA with those who would purchase it depending on its price and condition. If it's used gently, but in overall sellable condition (aka literally brand spanking new with clean interiors with no marks, scruffs, fading, wear, etc), and is in a reasonable price, I'll take it.

I purchased my batignolles vertical second hand, and it's been my most-used LV bag. I love that I don't have to baby it because the vachetta is already the perfect honey-brown shade. It's my bag for work and going out with my kids.

No. I stopped considering this option after I heard a story from one of my friends. She knew a lady who dropped her blue denim speedy in a public toilet. I think that it was in a fast food restaurant. Then she then dried it with a blow dryer & sold it on ebay to some poor soul. Now I am not saying that all used bags are nasty or mistreated. I just don't want to risk getting the one bag that was dropped in the toilet.

Only if the design of the bag is a limited/seasonal item and there's absolutely no way you can get it anymore from boutiques or a brand new one from any other source. Otherwise, I'd prefer to buy a totally unused bag. I guess with 2nd hand/used bag, you have to lower your expectations a bit as it can never be as mint as compared to new purchases straight from the boutiques. I just bought a pre-loved Cerises Speedy. It is in good, not excellent, condition and I presume for a limited-edition bag bought at a lower price than what it would have cost at the boutiques, what more can I ask for?

we wont know what the previous owner had done to the bag, right. have anybody wondered some 2nd hand/used bags already had several owners before you bought them? maybe you're the 3rd or 4th owner. :shrugs:

Heck yeah...with the issues surrounding the quality these days, and the soaring prices. Absloutely! I would buy a used item. Like many of you, I too enjoy the boutique experience...nothing beats that fresh leather smell, and the brand new baby you come home with.
