Speedy B 40 came in Damier Ebene? How did I not know about this?!I prefer buying my items direct from LV. But for items that have been discontinued, I have to if I really want the item. I bought an Eva clutch in DE, Pochette Métis is Rose Poudre and a Speedy B 40 in DE. I do not regret any of them.
Right?! My bag was made in 2016. Not sure when they stopped production on them.Speedy B 40 came in Damier Ebene? How did I not know about this?!
I wonder if it was a special order, perhaps? I know I was dreaming of a DE 40 long before 2016! I ended up getting my Mono 40 in 2017 because I had accepted it would never happen. I’ll have to keep an eye out in case a pre-loved one ever pops up!Right?! My bag was made in 2016. Not sure when they stopped production on them.
There’s one on TheRealReal right now for $1800. Only reason why I didn’t get it is because it’s hot stamped.I wonder if it was a special order, perhaps? Oh, I wish LV would put pressure on finding buyers who come in and buy of intending to sell it more than what LV charged. Not fair for people like me who wanted it to enjoy it.In theory, I like the idea of buying secondhand. However, I wouldn’t want to spend a lot of money (I know “a lot” is extremely subjective) on anything showing considerable wear. Also, if I’m buying something secondhand, even if it is in excellent condition, I expect to get a significant discount from the retail price. So, since a lot of bags don’t seem to work that way (bags in excellent condition being sold at or above retail), I have avoided going the secondhand route.
I also find resellers extremely annoying so I don’t want to contribute to their financial gain. By resellers, I specifically mean people who buy things just so they can try to resell at a profit, not people who simply are selling items they’ve used for awhile and no longer enjoy.

I can’t stand people who buy luxury goods just to resell it for profits. Sometimes it annoying to hear luxury goods as investments. That why I don’t want a Birkin, Kelly, and definitely no Rolex either. I absolutely lost interest in those goods.
