All of my bags are 2nd hand actually :p For me it's basically a money thing because I'm still in school, and honestly I love the hunt for a great deal. I think I've been pretty lucky, too!

It's great to see all the people that won't buy a used bags ~ less competition for me on eBay. :p
I don't like the look of brand new vachetta & I love a bargain. There are plenty of reputable sellers. I also like the "do it yourself" factor of fixing them up. Of course, if the price difference isn't that much, I would buy new, but sometimes I can't resist the sale. I actually hate buying retail for the most part.

I have thought about it but I like the feeling of buying a new designer bag at the store. Not only that but there are so many fakes out there buying used seems abit risky.

My favorite bag (Bastille) is second hand and honestly looks like it was just bought from the store. I got a great deal too :D Everything else i own is store bought.

I bought 3 bags recently preloved, all of which do not have vachetta - two epi leathers and one damier canvas. Considering I saved about $2300 and all of the bags were in superb condition, I'm extremely happy!

Me TOO....I like searching for those "hard to find" ones..As long as they're in great shape. I've bought many bags from *bay and craigslist and have been very fortunate to receive LV bags in near perfect condition. Bear in mind though when you see a *great deal* on *bay it's probably not "one" for you have to remember you get what you pay for....most of the time.JMO:tdown:

I have both new and secondhand bags. Unfortunately, I am definitely less attached to the secondhand ones, - no real sentimental memories attached to them. The ones bought new at boutiques were those to commemorate an event (honeymoon) or travel or something I had thought long and hard about. The secondhand ones are bags I have on a list, and when one of a good price came up, I bought it.

I've purchase 3 second hand LV's.. my Tivoli PM, my white WC Speedy, and my Damier Speedy 30 in Ebene. The Tivoli PM and WC Speedy werent available when I was in the market for it, and i just gave my friend my Speedy 25 so I could get the 30 but didnt want to spend the money on it after the price increase! :nogood:

They're all absolutely beautiful. The Tivoli was NEVER taken out of it's box same with the WC Speedy so I'll get to experience their "aging".. All three bags smell brand new and the interiors of all three are absolutely PRISTINE! and yes they're all AUTHENTIC!! There are still a few honest ebayers out there! :yes:
