Would You/Do You Wear Your Engagement Ring Everyday

i am amending my earlier answer and shamelessly bragging about my ring for a second. i resized my ring and fixed a prong a few months ago which stopped the scratching...then hubby suprised me with a new one!

it's so pretty. i never thought i'd want a colored ring....but who can not love pink? although hubby jokingly pointed out this is my third upgrade in 3 years and he doesn't like the pattern he sees emerging. it hasn't left my finger though. hehe.

i used to wear mine everyday until i nicked it somehow. i was sooooooooo angry cuz i couldnt believe diamonds get nicked that i stopped wearing it and only on special occasions.

I wear mine every day. I take it off only briefly to shower, put on hand cream, etc. I even sleep in it.

We're not married yet, though- after we are, when I have my wedding band, I probably won't wear the engagement ring all the time. I envision myself wearing it sometimes, but not always

Personally I don't wear my engagement ring everyday. In fact right now it's in my bedside table 7000 miles away and I haven't worn it for two months already. I also don't like to wear it because I sort of realise that if you have it on, men no longer care to compliment you because they know they have no chance to get under your skirt, LOL!

I wear my e-ring and wedding band whenever I leave the house. What's the point of sepending so much money on it when it never see daylight.

I wear it whenever I leave the house, but not when I am home. I have a 1.72 marquise set high surrounded by baguettes and rounds which adds another carat and at home I am always doing something with my hands (jewelry making, cleaning, etc) and even after 10 years I get nervous about something happening to it.

not quite . my ex was controlling and possessive, and i'm actually glad we broke it off . i still have the ring, although i stopped wearing it in late May after i found out that my ex got a new girlfriend, and i don't even look at it anymore

I wear my engagement ring and wedding ring everyday. The only time I take them both off is when I go and take a shower and before I go to sleep.

My engagement ring fell off my finger when I went to buy home pregnancy test before going into work. It was the beginning of winter in Toronto so I was wearing my gloves and I noticed when I got to work that it was missing. I went back to the store (where I had dropped it) the next day (after freaking out and crying to my husband) and one of the employees found it and brought it to the lost & found! I was so relieved that it was found b/c my husband's uncle (who is a jeweler) custom made my engagement ring & wedding ring!

i only wear my plain wedding band (platinum) for every day. when we go out without our children, then i'd wear my engagement ring as well. however, when our children are older i'd wear it again.
