I wear mine everyday, and no, it's not insured. I could buy a mighty pretty bauble for what the insurance would cost, so I've been throwing caution to the wind. :shame:
Yes & Yes but I have a couple of friends who don't insure their rings and it doesn't seem to bother either of them.
