I
Shelby33 as an owner of several Massaccesi handbags, I totally agree. The price for the quality is unbelievable. If you want to try one of Marco's bags, there is a group, Massaccessi BST, that you can join through Facebook. That is where we buy, sell and trade our Massaccessi bags that don't work for us. Sometimes we order one and it too big, too small, etc., so this is a way for us to share with each other. You can get one in nearly new condition for $100 to $350 dollars, usually.
I joined a few months ago just to see more of the bags! Still saving...

Yes just looked, I did see that but not the right style for me. There is a black bag listed under it that I love though!
I like that style also but have yet to get one. Several people ordered those with an extended top flap to keep the two pockets covered when they carry it. I think I would do that as well, but I do not know how much MM charged for that.
Every tme MM comes out with a new creation people start selling their bags, so keep an eye out and you may find one.

I did read that when you use the front pockets things can fall out so it should be ordered with the longer flap? I don't know if that would be a problem for me because I only would put a few things in there.
I do love the style but would pick a different color, I have enough black bags and he has so many colors to choose from.

Indeed, choosing a leather and a color is almost overwhelming. After being an MM addict for over a year I have pretty much narrowed down my choices. Nevertheless I keep options open because I started out hating textured leather... now I love it and Verona is my all time favorite. It is fun to evolve!!! LOL

I had only one 1400 cad Lv bag purchased and thats my only splurge. I promised my hubby I will not ask him to buy anymore after this and even told him that itll be my last bag purchase. I kept my promise for 2 years until this month. I couldnt resist that disney and coach collab mini backpack for 197 dollars during my birthday and then just last wednesday I bought a roots mini venetian leather bag for 130 cad. I justified both my purchase saying that disney one is some sort of a limited release so I must have it and with roots I told my hubby I have to have a canadian made bag and it is seldom on sale higher than 25%. I did purchased a 600 cad bag years ago but it was a steal already since its being sold for 1500 or more on ebay. I regret it much now though because I never use it. I try not to tell the price of my higher priced bag to anyone who ask because some people I know who got the answer just look at me in shock like I bought a million dollar bag instead. I told them its just a one time thing anyway. They do get excited though when i show them the new purchase i got from coach and roots. They are appreciative more on style rather than brand names

I feel the same. My expensive bags are cumbersome, boxy, they hang heavy and awkward on my shoulder. I tend not to use them much.

I use public transportation and a fancy purse would get slaughtered with dirt. I also feel a bit self-conscious carrying a pricey bag. Finally there's the rain. It rains frequently here. Most of my bags have rain spots. Some look really, really bad from rain spots even though they've been slathered with water-proofing potions. And I hate carrying a water-proof bag in which to carry my purse.

I like using my kipling during the rain. Its waterproof. Le pliage too but i didnt find it convenient to use when i get or put in my stuff

I bought one bag for $1500 about three years ago. Since then, none of my purchase have been anywhere near that price. It was a Chanel Twisted Flap in red. I just used it a couple of weeks ago. Never say never, but it’s been three years. I’m not interested in another Chanel. I’m looking at some vintage Dior.

To be honest I've actually never spent more than $200 on a bag, and I don't think I'd ever spend more than $600.
-My longchamp le pliage neo was bought pre owned but never used. Paid $190
-My Kate Spade cobble hill staw Mylie was a gift from my boyfriend and was on clearance for around $140
- My Rebecca Minkoff Love crossbody I found at the rack for $158

I see so many collections stocked wifh premier designer bags, I had to see who else was in the same boat as me.

While most of them retail for much more, I did not pay over $250 for any of them except my briefcase. Most of them are in the $150-200 range.
