Oh, lisab, you don't know what you're missing! When you tie the scarf, the turkey disappears and you see the beautiful feathers and in this reissue, the gorgeous contrast hems!! :)

No cow in this scarf, but a very handsome longhorn bull instead! Lol!

Lol! this exchange is so funny. I think it's a fabulous scarf as well, but it's always hard to get past the fact that it's a big ol' turkey on it!! :p

:p Today's scarf is Eperon d'Or.

this is simply beautiful! This and the other garden parties appearing here very recently have really given me an appreciation of this bag!!

Euridice - I love the loden ACSMC on you! Great choice and a classic for sure.

Thank you so much!

Here you go loves:

This is divine!!

And one more look that is off theme: Quai aux Fleurs

Wow, three more fantastic scarves! Equally beautiful, but I think my fave of the three is this Quai aux Fleurs, so dramatic with the black!

Keys...the classic.

John in DFW

So classic! And, with the stripes, this is simply perfection.

PIERINA, that is a longhorn, and it appears to be a steer (rather than a cow or bull). Actually, it appears to be a None of the Above, to tell the truth...last I looked at cattle, anyway.

VnSoie, you know scarf and cattle?? I don't know "cow." My DH laughs at my misuse of terms but I do have 17 of whatever is on the scarf that lovely Pierina posted. Thank you my darling Pierina.... And 11 babies of of the same kind! laughing laughing

Would love to see cattle 'safari' shots (no silk required)!

We're on a wave of scarf layering of late: bravo for your pioneer twinning of the Mosaique mousse with Doigts de Fee. Improbable on paper, maybe, but a visually resounding success with your yellow toned top and navy trousers.

Michel - thanks for your latest pairing. I like the first snapshot with all the movement - might be a demonstration of Rhythms?1

Pussywillow :Thank you for you nice comment, I love the combo of Boubou and Chaines on you , the are very different and yet complement each other perfectly ....:smile1:

Thank you, imoline, for your encouragement - I am enjoying your contributions and insights: all in excellent English.

Hmm, Lobster with Mayonnaise in Britain sounds like Bienchen's call.:amuse:

Well, at least today I am complying with the theme and hail from Armenia! I've got my Jardins d'Armenie on today. It's my very first mouselline stole, and I love it. The colors are a bit washed out by the bright sunlight but you should get the idea.

A great contrast edging in pattern and colour on your mousseline - love the wavy lines.

I continually confuse Jardins D'Armenie with Peuple du Vent - I had to make sure they don't share a designer (Jd'A is Petrossian as is Le Boubou H, fancy that) - and quite Tabriz-like if you are looking to the possible A/W12 offerings already!

So I spend one day doing nothing but work and this thread goes crazy :p

I know I'm going to forget some beauties, so apologies in advance, but here are a few shout outs

Lanit, happy birthday, and what a glorious washed silk!

Sparkliesab, great colors on your carpe diem and I loved the longhorn conversation

irisJ and TangoTosca lovely Aux Pays des Epices on both

fritillaryB I can't pick a favorite between your 3 looks!

hermesguy that's a great classic look with Les Clefs and the stripes

Vnsoie congrats on the new Garden party!

pussywillow, sparkliesab and micheldietlin wow 3 combined scarf looks in a row, what a treat!

I'm hoping to soon have a new scarf of my own to post. Going to NYC and the Madison Ave store this weekend (lesson learned from last time: they're closed on Sundays...). I'm looking at either black and white (if Reves d'Escargots becomes less elusive than it seems to be online and in DC) or bright pink. If I post a green/blue/purple scarf, you'll know how well I keep my resolutions :giggles:

I saw this gorgeous little gavroche in Harrods H in early December. It had just been put out in the pocket square basket that day. Lacking the usual identity tag detailing the colours, the assistant said it was found somewhere and from several seasons ago. I've seen this on Mai Tai and the ScarfMoodist: their colouring suits this little gem so well. It felt it was a mark of my scarfing maturity that I did not purchase this even though I adore everything about it, I know my colouring can't do it justice. However, these colours are spot-on for you - beautiful!

The happy ending was that some nine weeks later, Bienchen must have spotted and purchased this exact same little gem in Harrods and it is delightful on her too.

Per Astra and Quai aux Fleurs look quite serious, grown up scarves on you - definitely silks to do business in! Tres chic.

Pussywillow,
Thanks for your story about the gavroche. I like the thought that you left it behind for Bienchen to find. This was one that I knew that I was going to buy the second I saw it. I do tend to dress in serious clothes for work. I hope that my scarves make my suits a little softer. But there is nothing like the look of a super formal scarf with a jean jacket or a leather jacket. I wore my blue Ciels Byz. on Saturday with a jean jacket and white blouse and the contrast of the very formal scarf with a casual jacket looked amazing. I should have taken a picture.

Then jumping aboard the Faubourg Express for India, with Beloved India cashmere GM and my favorite gavroche Fantaisies Indiennes.
