My First LV bag was the Speedy B 30 in Monogram. I had it for a year but used it 5x only. Since it was my first LV, I went with what I thought was the most 'classic'. Then, shortly after I bought it, I started worrying about the vachetta. I wasnt in Purse Forum then and I didn't know there are lots also who hate the darkening vachetta. I got rid of it and replaced it with a Speedy B 25 DE and an LV retiro noir. I bought these bags just months ago but used them more than I ever did my LV speedy B Mono. I'm keeping my Eva in Mono though. Aging vachettas in smaller bags doesnt bother me as much as those in bigger bag models.

I think I am now regretting buying the Retiro. It is very heavy and I am in pain within an hour of wearing it. However, it is so beautiful that I am not sure I can let go of it. The Pochette Metis has been sitting on my shelf since I bought it. I have never used it once. I thought I would like and use a small bag, but apparently that is not happening anytime soon. I tend to only use the very lightweight bags with longer straps now that I have back and shoulder issues. I used to only use by NF's but find I do not hardly ever use them anymore. But what I do know is that all this cold change at any time. And so it goes.

I found the Retiro NM Noir too heavy for everyday use and I worry all the time if it slouches in time. But I get lots of compliments on this bag and I just couldn't let go of it!

I kinda of regret getting my zippy coin purse in DA. I love the style and absolutely love the DA but I'm too scared to use it in case I mark it! Needless to say it has sat in its little dust bag for months. I wish I had bought a mono one instead.

My first lv purchase was the epi pochette accessoire in blue. It was a beautiful blue but it was too small for me so sold it 2 years later after it sat too long in the dustbag. Then in 2008 I bought a preloved epi leather petit now in gold fawn. It was so beautiful I loved the epi leather but finding things in the bag was a nightmare. I still like be the shape of the classic nor but unfortunately the petit now size is not for me. I sold it after trying to make it work for me for 4 years. I had to let go of it. Then my work horse bag was the Saumur 30. Loved it to death but it's so worn out now I'm setting it aside to send for repair.
I also regretted getting the empreinte speedy B 25 although I loved the aurore colour, the bag was too heavy for me and could not fit my daily essentials as I always need to bring my kids' stuffs in my bag as I hate carrying a separate diaper bag. I sold that as well.
Now I'm left with my favorite speedy B 30 in DA which is lightweight and so versatile n my turenne MM which can fit the same amount of junk as my speedy b 30. I'll purchase another empreinte bag in the future but will choose something small like a crossbody bag or an epi leather crossbody.

Ok this is a bit off topic (OK a lot!!) but what bag do you find works well to cart around your kids stuff? I'm a first time mum and have a massive nappy bag at the moment which is driving me nuts!

Sorry.... Getting used to quoting!

For me my speedy B 30 can fit around 4 pcs of diapers, baby wipes, a small to medium size hot thermo flask, a baby bottle,a small container for snacks and my phone and wallet. But if u are still nursing your child it'll be easier as u don't need the hot thermo Flask or baby bottle.
I'm nursing my third child and my second child is already a toddler who doesn't drink formula milk so sometimes I pack his lunch into the bag as well without any thermo flask or bottle. He will bring his own water bottle or I get my first born to carry it with her.
The best 'diaper/mommy' bag is definitely my Prada nylon tote. It can be worn as a tote or a crossbody. It has a zipper which I prefer so the things don't fall out. One of the reasons I still don't buy a Neverfull as a diaper bag. But if speedy b 35 works better for u then I say go for it in the ebene coz not everyone is like me, can deal with dark patina on my vachetta of my azur. For my turenne MM it gets a bit heavier compared to my speedy B with the same items in the bag.

I thought the same so i bought the turenne pm siena pm favorite mm and mews before I bought my speedy b25 mono and 2 weeks ago my speedy b25 DE.. so now I think why didn´t I buy the speedy bs in the first place haha they fit soo much.. the strap is adjustable and you can make it smaller like a shoulder bag with just the 2 pieces .. you can wear it crossbody lightweighted.. they look super cute and fit more than my turenne pm and siena pm..altough i like both bags it would have been better if i bought the speedy b25 first.. It is a perfect small looking bag which fits aaaa looot and i can take her for dinner / drinks and to work..

I feel like I regret a bit my turenne pm and my siena pm.. i need to think about it if i should keep them or not.. I don´t really like how they both look like when wearing them with a strap but i love that they keep their shape, your things are organized in it, ..big opening and they look very cute handheld..

try the speedy b version.. maybe you like it..I don´t see speedy bs often.. just the classic speedys sometimes and the neverfulls all the time .. fakes and real ones..

I'm so glad you posted this. I've been going back and forth trying to decide between de speedy B 25/30 or the Siena pm. I think I've decided on de speedy b 30 since I usually carry a lot of things. I like that the speedy B can be carried crossbody or shoulder bag.

Here's an update - LV did respond and now they say that I can hand it over to the Seattle store for repairs, since I would be visiting Seattle shortly asked them if they can help me from there at least! I'm just wondering how the are gonna replace the handles or strap since Celeste colour doesn't exist anymore! Hope they ask me to choose another bag instead It's asking for too much no ?

They have been known to do repairs on retired bags for up to ten years (from what an SA told me). Even though they don't produce the bag itself anymore, they can still get parts (although this varies from SA to SA). And in the case of glazing issues, they can repair the strap and handles because it's just glazing they'd be replacing. So they just put new glazing on your leather pieces. It's been common for women to just be offered a credit note for a whole new bag. I've heard women on the forum get offered credit notes because their SA said they can't have it repaired. Then other women have said they've gotten it repaired with no problems. Hope it gets sorted out for you :)

I am fine with the glazing if done properly and it doesn't get damaged again! The thing is that the strap and the handles have become so sticky that it's coming on to my clothes and the leather can be seen from inside !!! Literally a melt down

I regretted the PM agenda. It was my fault and did not realize there was sizes when I bought it used. Therefore, I kept it but never found paper to fit into it. I recently gave it to DD and she was hole punching paper to fit inside. Such a waste of a LV item, but happy it was not expensive.
