I can relate to this (and the other post) about the vachetta. It looks great on others, but I worry too much about having to baby it. I had a Neverfull GM in mono, after 3 years the vachetta started to age just a bit and I figured I would sell while it still looked nice.

I have switched over primarily to Damier Ebene bags, I still have one classic Speedy 25 left in monogram that I will keep.

I know the Neverfull with "patches" is coming out any day now, that is going to be in monogram with black leather trim. I am hoping this bag will eventually become available without the patches, I think the dark trim would be awesome!

When I sold my monogram speedy I felt relieved. I'll never forgot when I first got it, how white the handles were. My first thought was "Oh wow that's going to be hard to keep clean". Why on earth I thought I would be ok with aging and marks, I don't know. I like my purses looking new. Vachetta just is not for me. I've seen YouTube videos of people taking baby wipes to their vachetta and I think they look great turning honey color, for them. But I just don't like the darkening leather myself.

I'm glad you sold your bag before it turned too much :). And yes, the dark trim would be great! I like the look of the keepall in monogram with black trim. If only LV would release their monogram speedys with black trim.

I can't really say it's a regret and I only have 2 LV pieces, but one of them is an orange epi key pouch. I loved the color online, and love the color in person, but it goes with nothing I have. I guess I could clip it on my olive green Josephine PM in October for Halloween and it'll look like a weird reverse pumpkin, hahaha.

I plan on using it more when I just need a tiny clutch but I'm kind of worried it'll just live in my closet most of the time.

My other micro regret simply comes with buying my pieces second hand. I got ridiculously amazing deals on my pieces, but they're both dirty. I know I can get the epi leather clean without too much elbow grease but I'm worried the Mini Lin will take me a week to get servicably clean. Apparently the previous owner carried makeup loose in it because every time I go over the liner with a gentle detergent and dry it with a clean cloth, the cloth comes out dark brown with muck. Luckily it's mostly just the lining that is disgusting so one one else knows and no one else will see the staining but I'm hoping it isn't actually stained and I can get it all out.

I regret buying speedy empreinte !! It's becoming shapeless and is melting on handles and strap, I had bought it from Rome LV Store in 2012, feel so sad whenever I see it The colour is a beautiful celeste blue. I wonder if anyone having same issues!

I think you should bring it in to have it fixed. I heard it's a known issue for this bag. I've had mine for about 2 years and haven't had an issue with the handles and strap, but it is losing a bit of its shape on the sides. I don't mind it though, as I knew it was bound to happen. I just use a bag organizer and it's all fixed! [emoji1]

I'm guessing it's the size 30? The 30 has been known to lose its shape from the weight of the bag. Or any size if worn crossbody. LV will fix it for you or offer you a credit note for what you paid for the bag- to put towards a new bag :). (Just depends on what SA you deal with because they've been known to say they can't fix it for some, and then offer repairs to others). Try talking to a few SAs in hopes of finding one who will process a repair for you :)

The reversed pumpkin made me laugh! Too funny. But the orange sounds like a pretty pop of color :)

Artsy Mono MM, bought it in 2012 and used her a handful of times. Was nervous about her cracking all along the top, seemed like a design flaw. I am also someone who really uses her bags, i switch out of one and into a new one maybe every 6 months to a year. I still love the look of the bag, but did not like how close it sat to the underarm, when on the shoulder, and even after the handle would have relaxed, it would not have a had a good drop for me to wear on the shoulder, couldn't arm/hand carry such a big bag. Finally sold it, last week for what i had paid for it, so thankfully i did not incur any losses on it! I also need a zippered bag, and find i now like/carry smaller bags, nothing smaller than the Speedy 25! Can't do Micro/Mini bags at all!

Been loving my New to Me Speedy 25 Mono the last few days and considering another speedy 25

I sold the neverfull pm in monogram because it sat right under the armpit. I hated it. I got all my money back so I was very happy. It took me a few bags that didn't work well for me to learn what does work best for me. My speedy 25s are my favorite bags (and my Saint germain bbs). The speedy 25 bandouliere in Damier ebene is my most carefree bag. I got it just this year and it's a life changer! It's virtually indestructible. And so beautiful. I also have two empreinte speedy 25s and those are by far my most beautiful bags. Definitely get another speedy 25- they're the best! :)

Thanks, I called up my local store in my city and they refused to repair it saying that they cannot do anything about it since it was not bought in our country (India) and I should take it back to any store outside India where LV may help I have now written to LV and let's see what they say!

Thanks! It's 25 and it was not bought in my country (India) now LV India tells me that they can't do anything about it and I should take it to any other store out of India!! I have now written to LV and awaiting their reply!

That's pretty poor and they are just being difficult. LV is LV no matter which country it's bought in and as such should be willing to do work on a purchase made outside of your home country. If this is the case then what incentive is there in purchasing abroad?
The repair will take weeks so they expect u to stay away from home just for a repair or fly back and forth for it. Just silly. I hope smarter heads prevail and LV takes care of it.

Wow that's terrible customer service. LV does repair the melting glazing for this bag, free of charge, because it was a very known defect for it (mostly for women in hot or humid climates). I hope the online customer service will be able to assist you better. I've had a store associate try to sell me an empreinte speedy store display- when I asked her for one from the back she said they didn't have anymore. I asked another SA a few minutes later and she brought one out from the back. That bag was perfect. Sometimes it's the person assisting you who is the problem, not the company as a whole. Definitely ask customer service online. If they still tell you they can't help you, send another email so you get a different person. In the end, LV should help you. They're known for standing behind their products so push for them to fix it :). They won't be able to do anything for it losing its shape but a purse organizer (Samorga is a good brand) will help it keep its boxy shape :)

Thanks for your support Fancy Pants and Kitty! I'm now on a mission to get this done I took out the receipt and checked that it was in 2013 I had got this bag. I will take your advise and will do diligent follow up!

Here's an update - LV did respond and now they say that I can hand it over to the Seattle store for repairs, since I would be visiting Seattle shortly asked them if they can help me from there at least! I'm just wondering how the are gonna replace the handles or strap since Celeste colour doesn't exist anymore! Hope they ask me to choose another bag instead It's asking for too much no ?
