My regrets are a pair of Neverfulls, the ones that came out with the V on them.

I personally cannot stand the vachetta leather. I baby my bags and that just makes it impossible for me to just relax and carry the bag in peace.

I just love the neverfull so much and had been dying for a new design (like the Ikat). So when the V design ones came out I bought one in each color.

I carried the blue one for a bit, but the vachetta on the pink one was stark white, and it gave me panic.

I had even bought the matching charm for each one. I sold them and hope they went to good homes.

Lesson learned!

Here's a pic to show the color difference in the vachetta.

Me too I got the blue neverfull and pink pouchette. As much as I love the neverfull I really can't stand using totes I have no idea why I bought it. And my pouchette has never been used and lived in it's box.

1. My first LV purchase ever I bought a Turenne MM and I just could not fall in love with it like I did with my first DE Speedy 30!
2. Agenda DE PM - It is WAY smaller than I expected it to be & was not practical for my personal needs.
3. Right now I'm kind of regretting my DE pochette ... I can't seem to find a purpose for it!

Perhaps you should sell the DE pochette and use the money to get the mini DE pochette- the mini would give you the same great look you loved about your first piece but with the practicality of being able to use it in all your large bags , or also as a wristlet :)

I love my DE pochette. I ordered a chain from eBay and use my pochette as a crossbody bag. It's so carefree, especially with a toddler and I never have to worry about it. Keeps my hands free and all. I'll buy it in a heartbeat if it was slighter bigger too.

i agree too with this statement. You have to do your research before going to the store. Find out how popular it is ( because when you see lots of people having the same bag as you, you might end up regreting), what are the common complaints about the bag and if you are indeed able to wear it. Like me, I know im more of a crossbody bag person and yet I bought the NF ( because my DH kept insisting that the bigger the better). I thought it would grow in me but it never did. First, im not shoulder bag type of person, secondly, I dont bring much with me so a bag that huge is pretty useless. Lastly, I felt uncomfortable with the monogram because I Think its too "look at me, i have LV" for me.. Thus, I didnt wear it as often as planned. Also,I didnt know a thing about vachetta and I didnt think ill be too fussy about it way too much.
Ugh this is my problem. I can't decide what I want for my first LV! I can't take two steps without seeing an NF or a Speedy. I understand they're great starter bags but I dare to be different. This is truly a challenge for me.

My Trivoli GM is just to big for my lifestyle, although it is so darn pretty, I can't bring myself to sell it. This was my first LV and I am hanging on to it for sentimental reasons. I do try to carry it at least once during the anniversary month in which I got it but other than that I do not gravitate toward it.

Still in my collection - Epi speedy, favorite mm, pochette

Sold a bunch - tivoli pm, Verona mm, speedy 30 (all were uncomfortable); Madeleine GM - better black bags out there and it was stiff. Thompson street - too small. Wiltshire pm in pomme - pretty but useless

I thought the same so i bought the turenne pm siena pm favorite mm and mews before I bought my speedy b25 mono and 2 weeks ago my speedy b25 DE.. so now I think why didn´t I buy the speedy bs in the first place haha they fit soo much.. the strap is adjustable and you can make it smaller like a shoulder bag with just the 2 pieces .. you can wear it crossbody lightweighted.. they look super cute and fit more than my turenne pm and siena pm..altough i like both bags it would have been better if i bought the speedy b25 first.. It is a perfect small looking bag which fits aaaa looot and i can take her for dinner / drinks and to work..

I feel like I regret a bit my turenne pm and my siena pm.. i need to think about it if i should keep them or not.. I don´t really like how they both look like when wearing them with a strap but i love that they keep their shape, your things are organized in it, ..big opening and they look very cute handheld..

try the speedy b version.. maybe you like it..I don´t see speedy bs often.. just the classic speedys sometimes and the neverfulls all the time .. fakes and real ones..

Great suggestions, I should go into the store and try the bags on.

before you try it on take out the pillow with which they stuff it.. and if they have the folds on the canvas just ignore it.. it will go away after you use it 5-10 times..at first i didn´t like it on me beacuse i tried it on with the pillow.. then i didn´t like the folds on the canvas.... then i tried a speedy b25 mono on with no folds in the canvas.. apparently they had it stuffed and the folds were gone.. and I really liked it..

I think I am now regretting buying the Retiro. It is very heavy and I am in pain within an hour of wearing it. However, it is so beautiful that I am not sure I can let go of it. The Pochette Metis has been sitting on my shelf since I bought it. I have never used it once. I thought I would like and use a small bag, but apparently that is not happening anytime soon. I tend to only use the very lightweight bags with longer straps now that I have back and shoulder issues. I used to only use by NF's but find I do not hardly ever use them anymore. But what I do know is that all this cold change at any time. And so it goes.

The SC bag in Monogram. I carried it for about 5 years, but could never get used to the way the bag folded and buckled in the middle. I tried a bag stiffener, but then was constantly losing things underneath that false "floor." I carried a Montsouris backpack in Monogram for about 12 years before that. It was great for travel, but was a bit of a pain for daily use, having to open the flap and un-tie the leather string every time I wanted to get my wallet or phone. I'm a sort of serial monogamist, in that I tend to carry one bag for a long time before I move on. It can be hard to know how a bag will actually work in practice until one carries it and uses it. Live and learn! Threads like this can be really helpful! :)

The Estrela NM in Noir. I bought it without trying it on because I loved the idea of mono and black with no vachetta to worry about. The double shoulder straps were too short to wear over a coat and the long strap is so thin it's uncomfortable for such a large bag. I could also tell this wasn't starting to age well so I sold it. Lesson learned, I will always try a bag on multiple times before buying.
