Bags with white contrast stitching seem summery to me. I have some but I don’t wear them in a four season winter. I wish gold and etoupe came with tonal stitching options outside of an SO.

Agree totally, I have a few gold bags but yeah really wish they had tonal stitching which is my preference. When asking for bags I asked for similar colors because they had tonal stitching but yeah wasn’t opposed to gold. I think I am more afraid that the stitching will get dirty, which honestly I have seen before.
My UO is that I truly enjoy Hermes fine jewelry. I actually prefer it to Cartier and Van Cleef.
My UO--I call this the "Vegas Showgirl" bag because I think it's soooo tacky. The ones in bright colors are just so silly!

Not only will I agree, I go one further for UO- the green feathers remind me of the hula dancers people stick on their cars dashboards- so bad for SO many reasons ( will now run for cover)
Some of the other bags truly ARE amazing, though.
I actually like it as “a nice bag to look at”, it’s more of an occasion-only bag for those who can pull it off, like celebrities or high profile people that attend lots of social events, but definitely not smth on my wishlist for my casual life 😂
But speaking of UO, mine is I don’t like the “Touch” style of Kelly bags… it’s either full leather or full exotic….just a “touch” of exotic it’s like Anna Delvey saying “you look poor” in Hermes world 😂 I don’t get the appeal, especially on the mini Kelly😅 somehow looks like a cheap knockoff

I absolutely love the feathery bags and would buy one in a second if I had the offer or the budget. But I loathe bag charms and twilleys on handles so… 😱🤷🏻♀️
I like the look, especially when the handle isn't covered, but don't understand the logic.
The most delicate part of a K or B that's liable to deteriorate fastest through finger/hand contact or dry out are the sangles and the handle(s).
I'd rather have the front and back panels made of an exotic skin and have the handles, sangles and side panels made of a 'regular' leather.
I thought the same thing today.
My UO, I actually love touch bags, specifically the touch Birkin. Surprisingly, when I inquired about my ability to get one, my SA said the touch is not for me! My SAs have only refused to sell me a few things and the touch bags, CDC cuffs and some bag charms are among them. They have said they are “not for you.”

I love the touch Birkin too, but I feel like it loses its impact aesthetically unless you carry it closed. And since I never carry mine closed, it wouldn’t make sense for me. My UO on the touch concept - I think it works better when there is a marked textural contrast between the skin and leather. I’m not such a fan of the lizard/togo combination.
I still haven’t picked an SA, so I’m “single” for the first time in decades 🥸 but it’s been a fascinating opportunity to notice H customer service. My UO is, it’s pretty bad. At this level of retail, manners, service, attentiveness and follow-through should be impeccable. (Or at least as impeccable as H expects its customers to be.) I’ve defended their quirky practices for years, and I appreciate many of the nutty things they do, but to make that work, they have to remain above reproach.

I like the Barenia perfume just fine but it is so incredibly basic. The fact athat H is out here talking about specialty development/years of work to make this perfume is genuinely ludicrous to me. Literally every other perfume brand I’ve explored has one that smells just like Barenia. I don’t get it. Hire a true nose, steal someone from Guerlain for gods sake.

I don't think that anyone can say Christine Nagel isn't a true nose; it's more whether you like her taste (I don't either). It's also hard to be in the shadow of someone like Ellena.
My H perfume UO is that for the prices I want more interesting packaging. Why are perfumes from Regime des Fleurs and Ffern so beautifully packaged and H's are not? Why not some petit H style packaging?
Related UO: The Barénia packaging is one of the better ones, but Hermès Galop smells more like actual Barénia.
