To the tune of "You Need to Calm Down":

I was offered Mini Kelly
in studded and in that Bronze Doré
And a Faubourg Birkin, before seven am
The Special Order B was a knockout
And the other three that I turned down
And I'm just like hey
I love my SA
And I'm not trying to talk down your profile but check out my smile with Michael Coste on speed dial
And I'm just like oh...
I had to turn down
Every bag in the store
They just wouldn't stop
Offering more
But I wasn't sure
so I turned 'em all down
I need to calm down

;)
Some people play Fantasy Football. I guess some people shop at Fantasy Hermes. Disappearing now.

Latest unpopular H opinion - I would be ok with never seeing another pair of orans the rest of my life. A friend recently told me they would be ok with never hearing another pair of orans.
That's UO? Orans are so ugly and bad for the feet. They offer no support. I thought people who buy Orans only do so in many different colors for prespend. I would love for us to have a poll on that. I wonder how many of us actually like to wear Orans on a regular basis.

I'm a big fan of the Orans. I look forward to wearing them in the spring/summer
Of course for me they are not meant to be worn for long periods of time, but the colors are
like no other colors that I see for summer sandals & that's the appeal in addition as to how they look
with linen pants, trousers & dresses, JMO
I also have a narrow foot, so the Orans fit me well & my toe & heel are in the right place in the sandal

And that is the reason why this thread exists! I'm glad they work for you :amuse:

Graham’s number! Love it!

To stay on topic… My latest UO is I really don’t like the lipstick. Or the fragrances. My SA gave me samples and I find they almost all have an unpleasant smell. And with lipstick, it’s right under my nose, so…

The lipsticks are so dry. I feel like I'm rubbing a tube of compressed Play-doh on my lips.

Just received the new lip liner in shade 48.. Not as gliding as the TF new lip pencils are,
but the shade is doable.
Some H colors are hit & miss, but I do like the lip oils.. so the lip pencil filled in & with the
lip oil on top, works at the moment.. When the weather changes, my lips may be too dry to use
but we'll see

Totally agree! I have 3 pair and love them for summer- and easy to travel with as well ☺️

At least the component is worthy of the H label. I have 4 lipsticks including a balm. The formula for mattes and satin is so variable. Rose Mexique was incredible (sadly no longer available (?)).

My UO: The packaging for most of the other products in their makeup range is 'premium' at best. Compare H to the new Prada eyeshadow quads, Pat Mcgrath Motherships, or the Gucci bronzer - and much more expensive than any of the relative designer house new makeup lines.

I love Pierre Hardy designs, but the materials are really just ok (if it were Revlon or L'Oréal)

Have to agree with you that the component is certainly worthy! And agree on the point that the packaging on other items is meh to very meh.

To be very fair, I think that all of the lipsticks I've purchased are matte, so maybe what was I expecting...?

UO... (although this may be more P than U) I am really over all of the new rules associated with shopping H that I'm hearing about recently.

I heard from a friend that there is a new "rule" coming down the pipeline that you must physically show your face, as it was put verbatim, every six months in order to be allowed to continue to purchase from your boutique. It isn't a stretch that most of us frequent in person more often than this, but for it to be any type of hard stipulation seems a little crazy to me.

This will probably be a V UO but I’m tired of seeing reveal after reveal of gold and black b25 and 30 in Togo. So very ennui. Literally is h making no other bags but these combos? I miss seeing some of the obnoxious bright blues and green and reds even in verso.
I agree with you 100%. I am always disappointed when I walk into my local store and it's a sea of black/gold/etoupe Birkins. Where is the color? Where is the whimsy? There aren't even "neutral" colors like bleu unit, rouge H or vert de gris around.

Some of the Vegas stores already have this implemented. Two in person purchases within the past year or else they wont let you phone order.
