What’s your unpopular Hermes opinion?

Some years I absolutely agree.

I tend to regret buying every pair of H shoe at the sale lol (then again, hope springs eternal, and I would want to shoot myself if I paid full price for a shoe that was not comfy or didn’t fit )

Another unpopular opinion: I’m not fond of the Kelly Moove bag. Which no doubt means it will be the most popular bag of 2024 lol

Kelly moove is just the less flattering stepchild of the berline (imo)

H seems determined not to produce an improved alternative to the Jypsiere. The world needs, ok, I need, (lol!), an easy to deal with (true) crossbody that's not a mini-whatever with a strap. Love my Jypsiere but it it would be great to have something a bit more elegant than an Evelyne but not quite as much of a challenge as a Jypsiere to use. If what I'm wearing can't accommodate a phone then it defeats the purpose of a crossbody bag when one of my hands is now occupied with a phone. To be fair to JPG, cell phone use was hardly ubiquitous at the time, but it is now, and an elegant solution to the problem of carrying both a phone and a few other necessities would be great.

I'm sorry, this is ridiculous! My UO is that SOs should not form part of an SA sale quota. It may be only a matter of days for you to wait in this case, but when this sort of thing happens I think H has lost sight of the CUSTOMER.

Omg agree. I was not able to go last week as I was sick and was told I could go anytime and specially tues or weds of this week. Well here we are and now I can’t pick up my SO because it cannot be sold to me until march 1. I am confident all this makes sense to H it just doesn’t make sense to me.

Have you tried the Halzan? It seriously is one of the best crossbody bags - my UO

I’ve not tried the Halzan, but thank you for the suggestion. Unfortunately, I’m really not a fan of the design although I know it has its adherents. I just don’t think it’s very well thought out. Just my unpopular opinion.

Because everything is under the cover strap that is secure for battle. No one can get in, specially me. I would even be ok with the jsuperie with one back pocket for cell phone. and a smaller version of any H bag does not make it a true cross body. I mentioned all this to my sa and sm a while back and it was suggested I could go horizon.

Here's my UO: why do SAs and H corporate want to drive traffic in the store, but there's no inventory when you get there! Yet, the website has way more stock. H, make it make sense!!! haha

I saw a LOT of H at work today (industry convention) and frankly I think the new pristine bags look…fake? There’s something weird about bags that are so shiny and new with a kind of preciousness attached to them.
