I have tried very hard to not to say anything here. But the last few pages made me laugh so hard.

My first unpopular opinion is that I am not sure if my unpopular opinions are truly unpopular or not.

My second one is definitely unpopular based on some of the posts on this forum. I actually LOVE the Sac a Malice Space bag. It almost has my name written on it. It is like a Horizon order that I would do at less than half of the price of a Horizon order. The strap is simply exquisite. And since I have that bag for more than 2 years, I am not the lucky person who bought the one on H.com either. ;)

With much love and respect, now THIS is truly an unpopular opinion here, unlike the rest of us who lovingly use this thread as a dumping ground for our strongly held, sometimes indignant H opinions. :P

I agree with you - Space Malice truly a work of art! Standing proudly behind this unpopular opinion  and to add to it, I am very envious of both you @meowlett and whomever bought the bag online :)

No worries. Some of those comments were very funny. I am sure that there are plenty of things that you and others like and I don't care for.

Yes! Glad that I am not a lone nut. ;) I am a Malice fan in general. As with everything Hermes, the bag is very stunning in real life. I hope to add another Sac a Malice in the future when the right one shows up.

I adore the artistry of the Sac a Malice and there have been some lovely ones offered at auction lately as well as new from the store. Sadly, it is just too small to be useful for me, even for evening, so I have admired but not purchased.
My unpopular opinion is that too many new H designs are too small, but then I don't walk around with my phone in my hand!

And I don't like the new Bolide - I see it simply as a design change that makes the bag quicker (thus less expensive) to manufacture. (And I'm really annoyed that I can't get a new 27 any more, not even by special order! (Horizon is out of my league).

Hermes can be a tempestuous and fickle lover!

Everytime someone new to H says “I just started my “journey” and I heard x store was competitive so do I bother and what should I do blah blah blah?”

Honestly this is like nails on chalkboard. There are so many threads and posts about the individual stores here on fb social media etc. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that almost every single store is competitive, especially now in 2023. Every single experience is different and it also depends on the client’s emotional well being and personality. If the client is a pain in the neck, is constantly pestering the sa for a bag, and is returning items and/or is otherwise a demanding princess, obviously the wait is going to be very very long.

Coming on here and saying I spent 1:1 and 2:1 and I still haven’t gotten an offer or my sa hasn’t responded to my texts or email isn’t a new thing or shocking. One must learn to be patient and not be obsessive. There are so many factors as to why there is a wait or why the sa hasn’t responded. As long as you’ve been a normal human being things are just fine. But if you’ve been a pain in the neck and/or a bit obsessive maybe that sa is ignoring you on purpose after all.

Three is a crowd and maybe the resellers will start hogging the much ridiculed bag now.
I think lots of people are okay with the bag design, it’s the price tag that is seemingly absurd. I understand why it is priced as it is but if it were $2,270 rather than $22,700 I think many people would be happy to purchase and wear it. Just look at how successful novelty bags are at other brands.

My unpopular opinion included the fact that I accepted the price knowing the details and workmanship of the bag.

And I am sure if a B25 were $1000, it would be a lot more popular too.

Exactly....Anyone who gets a good look IRL at the details and the strap, including the heavy use of exotic leathers, would understand that it's well worth 15K euro or $22K. There is no way on this planet you even could get this bag made for $2200, by anyone
I mean, it's basically Picnic price, and while I respect the wicker craft on the Picnic line, my suspicion is the Space Malice was way harder to create.
