What’s your unpopular Hermes opinion?

Interesting! So perhaps they used the Marwari horse as a model as well. That horse does have a narrower head. That def puts this ring into a diff perspective for me. As I look at the head close up I do see some resemblance of eyes on the sides of the head. Ok so now i have a new appreciation for this ring. Wish it came in a slightly thicker model!

I'm not sure if it's supposed to be an accurate representation of a Marwari, although it is one of H's most beloved scarf designs. Just saying in terms of the horse-jewel genre it's common to decorate horse bridles this way, as well as many horses having a 'star' marking on their brow (as my horse did). I have the fine and the sliver (GM - no diamonds) and they are both lovely in their way.

But the diamond is certainly not supposed to be an eye.

Lol. I don’t like how the 29 and up looks crossbody on myself as well. I am about 5’2”… it is just overpowering. I have two 29s and I have gotten custom straps made for them to wear more shoulder bag/hobo style.

My unpopular opinion is this: I love seeing H purses with beautiful colours (including pink) on everyone else but me lol.
But I myself am pretty boring, and would be totally fine if all my H bags were black or a combo of neutral colours of black/etain & gold

No punishment from me, even though the 29 and 33 are my go-to-bags. For me the 29/33 is not a bag to look good on me but a bag for running errands. I live in a climate in which I have to wear a coat or jacket at least 9 months per year. The Evelyne works great for that situation, at least for me. It fits perfectly over my my thick coats and jackets, has room for scarves, gloves and hats, and has easy access. On our rare and few hot days I mostly use other bags. On those days I'd totally agree with you. I'm small and curvy and the 29/33 without a coat would look funny on me.

I really wish people would update the bag price list thread, its anonymous and therefore private and stops people asking "how much was that?" and "Ill dm you"

I completely agree, I wish the question would instead be: "hey, can you update the price thread, this info would be really helpful for others"
Response: "hey, sure, the price has already been updated on the price thread"
The price thread also helps to maintain some anonymity, once the update is a few posts old, one can't really identify, who purchased what for how much when.

Agree. I wouldn’t ask personally, because I grew up learning that talking about money or salary or how much someone spent something on something is frowned upon or taboo, just a no no. It makes people uncomfortable. But, yes transparency is good. I usually go looking for the prices myself but yeah they aren’t always available or up to date.

Dear God yes please!!! The "recent purchases" thread is full up every day. Reveals everywhere. People jumping for joy with bag offers, or asking opinions about which bag to take....but when they take that bag home....
Why oh why will no one post in the pricing thread to help other members out?

And while we are at it...almost no one contributes to the reference threads, particularly for colors and for special combo bags, which are super helpful and would be much more helpful if populated.
