What's the most disappointing bag you've ever bought?

Had a few original Coach that is made in USA :tup::tup: BUT when I got my very first "made in China" Coach bag... saw the labels at home... I returned it. Just disappointing that they would go from "proudly made in the USA", great history & everything to made in china for maximum profits... quit em like I quit Timberland.

A vintage Coach City bag. Got it on ebay. It was the bag all my girlfriends were carrying in college when I couldn't afford such things. So of course I had to buy it. What a thrill it was to open the box! But it won't hold all my stuff. The thin strap cuts into my shoulder. And the turnlock keeps opening. That's when I realized I am now a Big Bag Girl and there is no going back to the old days. It's still kind of a thrill to have it and I do carry it when I want something sleek and basic in black. :smile1:

My Gucci. It is too heavy. I think it wouldn't be as bad if it had a flat strap.

DH bought me a navy leather Coach bag years ago as a gift. I never wear navy and the bag was super small. I'm not sure why I kept it b/c I am not usually shy about gifts that I don't like. It's still sitting in my closet. I used it maybe once or twice in many years. I should ebay it but I'm too lazy. I still think about what a waste of money it was til this day since he actually paid retail for it which I would never do.

Your Gucci is STUNNING!

ITA. But I have a bad back, so I understand how frustrating a heavy bag can be. Even one that's absolutely gorgeous. :s

I return a lot of bags, so it's difficult to really say which one was the most disappointing, but probably my Cynthia Rowley Caterina Tote since I actually kept that one and just never use it. It looked so cute in the picture online and I negotiated an amazing price since it was a return and was missing the dust bag, but IRL it's not nearly so attractive or functional as I'd hoped. It's smaller and flatter than I expected, the shoulder strap is attached in an awkward way and the hardware and leather both look kind of cheap. It's an all around disappointment. :hysteric:

It's this bag, except in black:

Probably my first designer bag, which was a Coach patchwork Hampton. It's cute and all, but can only be worn in the summer and only with certain outfits. I didn't care at the time, it caught my eye and was on sale at Holts. It also kinda looks granny-esque to me now. :S
It's in my mom's possession now since I had to bribe her with something so she wouldn't get mad at me when she found out I bought a Louis.

I've been lucky with bags i think because I think about them, look at pics, and try them in stores 50 million times before i buy them. But about 8 or 9 months ago I bought a coach carly wristlet on impulse because I thought it was cute. I used it once, at a concert but now it's been pretty much sitting in my drawer holding my DS and GBA games. I love it but I'm clueless as to what to use it for, I almost always need to carry to much stuff to use it as a clutch and I don't know what to put in it to carry in my bag. Everytime I see it I feel bad. I bought a coach lemon coin purse 2 years ago as well that I have never used and I don't know what to put in it. I guess I shouldn't buy the little coin purse/clutch things unless i can use it for makeup. This is the only thing that stopped me from getting the LV vernis heart coin purses that I love..I just know it would sit there in the drawer.
