What's the most disappointing bag you've ever bought?

Mine was not an expensive mistake, just embarrasing. When I did not know much about bags, I saw a Guess (of the less tacky line) which I thought was made of leather. I bought it almost on the spot, then I realised it was plastic and besides, it was studded and decorated with a ton of hardware which made it super-heavy.

I gave it to my niece who's strong and young enough to carry Guess and from then on, I pay a lot more attentiion to material, weight and overall quality.

A Chloe Paddington. Too small, too heavy, too obvious. Plus not long after I bought it the Paddington (or a fake) was everywhere I looked.

Also, I had a black Gerard Darel 24-Heures. It is a beautiful and very lightweight bag but it's actually too soft in my opinion. So when you put it down it slumps. It is also hard to dig through when it is on your shoulder or you are holding it by hand.

My Balenciaga Day, which I bought when I drunk dialed Bal NY (it was 3am my time) and ordered it over the phone. Didn't like the style one bit. Sold it after 3 months!

Two bags I really regretted purchasing. One was the Gucci Indy. It is a beautiful looking bag, but it is impossible to get things in and out of and it never hangs right. Plus it weighs a ton.
The second was the Coach LE Ladybug straw bag. It was sooo cute at the time, but it is way too small and totally impractical. I never use it.

My disappointment was the new prada multi-colored bag but in a clutch. The leather and colors were pretty but the style of the bag reminded me of a brief case. There was no style to it, just a big leather square. I sent it back.

hayden harnett hudson triple strap, can't remember what they called the leather type, but it is like a raw suede and it bleeds. I am constantly picking little brown specks off of my sweaters. Not a very easy bag to carry. I find myself tucking the hand straps under the front pocket flap. I have seriously considered taking it to someone to lengthen the little closure to accomodate the additional bulk of the straps to keep them in place - but why spend more money on a handbag that bleeds.

Also, I love my Posen bags, but

my olivia, which i loved so much - also leaves little green pills on my clothes from the green woven suede bands. If this bag had a plain back you would have a safe side to place against your clothes. However, this bag is still extremely heavy and is not the easiest to get in and out of. For a bag that was originally $1895, this should never happen. No wonder why eluxury still has it on their website one year later, probably can't get rid of 'em.

In the future No suede bags and No drawstring closures. Both of these bags sit in their sleepers.

Coach Carly Large in Black Signature w/ brass - I loved it so much at the time, because it had just, just came out. No one was carrying it and it hadn't been faked yet. Now, I see them on every 5th woman walking down the street, and the fakes are disgusting.

My most disappointing was a marc jacobs quilted baq with the gold chain strap. It was so heavy I didn't even want to carry it empty, much less with my things in it.

Same here. 3000$ later, I was SO disappointed with those bags. I sold my two Stams on Ebay and will never, ever buy that model again.

LV Ellipse was not my favorite neither. Too structured, it sometimes felt like plastic.
