What's the most disappointing bag you've ever bought?

I wouldn't call it a disappointment, but I hardly get any use out of my leather Coccinelle hobo :( It just doesn't go with any of my outfits. I haven't used it in over a year! I love it and couldn't bear to part with it though.

I lusted after the YSL muse for about 2 yrs., finally bought one and after carrying it for 11 days, the handles started to fall apart. Took it back to Saks where it was purchased and they refused to give me a refund and insisted I let them try to repair it. They were unable to, so they sent it back to YSL for repair and I'm still waiting to get the bag back. I will probably never buy YSL again!

I bought a Chloe Heloise tote in black and within a couple of uses, the handle snapped off. The store let me choose a replacement bag and I chose a different style Heloise in taupe. I was completely in love with the bag but noticed the handles again splitting within a week. I love the look but it will take a lot to get me to buy a Chloe again.

My LV Mono Speedy 30. Lots of room inside but it bugged me no end that there was only one pocket and not even a zipped pocket. I knew it was that way of course when I bought it but I got on the LV train anyway. What bugged me most of all if how I felt carrying it when I worked with people that were carrying the same bag but a fake. It went to consignment.

My small, kind of pale brick red Chloe Silverado. I had bought if off ebay and it came with a few stains that hadn't been disclosed, but aside from that, it was just too tiny for the price. I think I'll go for the large version in red blaze once my shopping ban is over.

And I almost forgot, my Kate Spade Sam bags. They did nothing wrong, my taste just changed dramatically.

I have alot of regrets;
-Dior satchel- I originally wanted the saddle bag with the Dior in gold (I was young), but this was WAY cheaper- used it 2-3 times and has been unused 5+ years. But if I sold it I would prob only get £20 if that for it, I'd rather just keepe it in my closest.
-Dior girly bag- small bowler bags with pink dior written all over it- you can only wear it in summer time and I am soo over that sytle. But I bought it because I was in love with the girly line when it 1st came out when I was 16, but I couln't afford it. Many years on I bought it in the sale, even though it has only been worn no more than 2 times.
Gucci bags- the none leather bags with the monogram all over them- I am over this style and the fabric rips after a while- I have 2 sitting there.
-And finally my 2 Chanel cambon bags both black with white cc. Like before when cambon line first came out I loved them but could not afford them, but then years on when I had the money I bought 2- only to grow out of them in a month! That was a waste of £1300!
I now only buy classic Chanels and even the one's I have had for years I love and never tire of. I have learned from my mistakes.

My disappointments:

SEVERAL Fendi bags - every single one of them had issues, but I loved how they looked, so I kept trying, thinking maybe the prior one was a fluke. First one, screws came out, exchanged for the same bag, same thing happened, hardware falling off, the last one linings ripping out after one use, horrible quality and bad customer service.

LV Trevi PM - Just too stiff, especially the handles...too bulky for the shoulder and handles actually bruised my arms. I still have it because I just don't know how to do the eBay thing and I waited too long to return it thinking/hoping it would grow on me.

My biggest disappointment was a bag off ebags. It was a purple bag that looked incredibly cheap. I shipped it back the next day.

The other one was the Baggy GM by LV. It just didn't look flattering when worn. I sold it at a lost. I just couldn't get rid of it fast enough.

A mulberry bayswater. Love the look and its great on others but felt bulky, heavy, and huge on me. Also bought a metallic Chanel once. I found out I don't like metallics as much as I thought I would, now I;ll buy it only for evenings most likely.

Seems whenever I buy a mid-priced brand, I get disappointed:

Kooba (can't remember the style name)-leather was really thick and ugly, not soft at all

AC city clutch-again the leather was thick and ugly, and not soft at all

Botkier vixen (small size)-leather was thin and looked really faded

My Michael Kors leather camel colored satchel, the strap was doing something weird. It was not wanting to straighten out, out of the strap hardware. My first bag I ever wanted to get rid of. I ended up selling it.

Am I the only one who's slightly freaked about the amount of defects in these expensive bags? I've read this entire thread & I find it terribly alarming to hear how many bags have problems with the bleeding, picking, zippers, etc...Is NOTHING made well anymore? I was at Nordstrom several weeks ago looking at a Kooba & the zipper broke off in my hand! I thought Kooba was supposed to be good?
