What's the most disappointing bag you've ever bought?

I have a little mulberry bag which annoys me because it is not lined. It says "lined in suede" but to me they're just too cheap to line the leather with some fabric. Even my cheapo PVC bags are lined. I got it at a reduced price but I still feel stupid for buying it when I look at the inside.

Which one do you have? Maybe you should sell if you feel this way.

I absolutely love them exactly because they aren't lined, it just feels much more natural and truly rich. I totally agree with Korzinka and am too dreading the new leathers with their awful linings...

A very informative thread, thanks for starting it, OP.

I almost always regret an impulse purchase. I'm an impulsive gal, therefore many regrets. Here they are in no particular order (no offense meant to anyone, please):

1) Gucci pochette (from a LOONNNGGG time ago) zipper broke on first use.
2) Gucci pelham hobo - fabric was not a good quality, the corners seemed to fray the instant it came against any hard surface.
3) Chanel Cambon tote - looked plastic-y.
4) Chanel GST - not functional with the middle pocket.
5) Chloe Heloise Large - ugh... I dunno... didn't do it for me.
6) Chloe Paraty - same as above
(However, I love the Paddington even though it's a little heavy)
7) Fendi B bag - cumbersome, stiff.
8) Fendi Spy bag - I can't explain why I just got sick of looking at it after a couple of hours.
9) Louis Vuitton Palermo PM - really hard to wear on shoulder with the wider bottom against the hips.
10) Balenciaga Day - not exactly the most disappointing bag since I love the leather but this was SGH and it was heavy. Also, hard to find anything in the bag. I would have used it as a book bag but it was too heavy with books in it.
11) My mom's black Hermes Birkin. I was too young at the time and it made me feel too "mature". Also, it was rather structured.
12) Dior saddle bag - Too trendy, too small, oddly shaped, totally unfunctional for my needs. One of the worst bag purchases I've ever made.

That's all I can think of at the moment, though I'm sure there are many more.

The 2007 Gucci Boston Joy Bag in Beige Ebony with the metallic foil handles and trim. It's 2010 and I'm still really disappointed. With less than 10 times of usage, the handles just peeled like crazy. I'm still getting over how ripped off I feel.

so many...but the Prada Fairy. For the $, the painting was GORGEOUS but it was white, and I was so afraid to take it anywhere and getting it dirty. And the fear of the paint bleeding made me petrified. Plus it's so large/heavy even with nothing in it, and I couldn't get it over my shoulder. I had the Fairy clutch and should have kept that vs. getting the larger style!

my most disappointing bag that i have ever bought was YSL . i had a problem with the zipper of the bag and it was a big problem when i was trying to close and open it :( it takes me about 5 minutes after hard try

1. Vuitton papillion white vernis - the vernis made the bag so rigid the zipper actually cut my hand:(

2. Chanel cambon reporter- this bag was actually my teen-years-holy-grail, but after I bought it, it seemed too bulky:(

  • marc jacobs sophia - looks practical but not so much in reality
  • louis vuitton perforated speedy - the bright neon colors didn't do anything for me and my wardrobe
  • fendi spy - it just didn't look right on me, also it was hard to fish for things
  • chanel reissue tote - it was very difficult to get things in and out of the bag

i loooove all of my designer bags

my disappointment was the botkier for target bag, it was a metallic silver and the paint started flaking the first time i used it
i tried to use it a few times after that and i just got tired of wiping flakes off my shirt (and my friends teased me for carrying a bag from target)
i eventually sold it on ebay =P

that's not cool, I'd be upset.

For me, the disappointment is to myself that I made the wrong choice with the LV Epi Alma. It just doesn't fit my life style and weather here, therefore, it is only sitting in the closet. I should have bought the BV veneta instead.

I bought alma vernis and it didn't fit my life style either i had to sell it...
