What's the most disappointing bag you've ever bought?

Belen Echandia Love Me Mini...the hardware was so brassy looking. I paid full price and lost about 300. selling on the bay...the leather did smell good, tho.

OK...I just re-read this thread and my answer was the same both times, lol!

A bag by Dolce & Gabbana - brown leather, silver name place and absolutely HUGE. So user-unfriendly. I think I carried it for a week. One of my (luckily) few true errors of judgment, bag-wise.

For me its the balenciaga black city. I know tons of people found it functional but it just never worked for me. I probably bought one with the 'wrong' leather - thin, too distressed and after a few times of wearing it...the corners are already starting to rub off. Too much of a hassle trying to baby it all the time - sold it :)

Paddington loaf (or bowler... whatever it's called) in tan. I loved the design and the colour, but it was one of the most impractical bags i ever had. It weighed a tonne before i even started putting things in it. The handles were so short that my arms hurt from carrying it even for just a couple of hours as i couldn't carry it on my shoulder. Total waste of my money!!!

Years ago, I bought this Coach bag with a fall away zipper. Let me tell you how much I HATE fall away zipper. SO annoying, I just want to go into rage thinking about how much it annoys me LOL.

I also bought this other Coach bag, that turned out way too small even for me, and it had suede accents that picked up my jeans transfer immediately (bag was pink) UGH

I also bought this Coach bag (from classic line), and then found out it was too heavy for me, too small and no frigging pockets, not my style etc. Just all wrong for me.

I bought these bags within one year, years ago, online. NEVER will I buy a bag online without seeing it 1st in person. And by dumb behind could have returned them, I don't know why I didn't. They sat in my closet for a long while. I recently got rid of them - I held on to them, because I felt soooo guilty (I did carry them a couple of times literally out of guilt while hating myself). This contributed to me not buying much Coach bags anymore, because I couldn't get this waste of $ out of my mind for years. I do have 2 more Coach bags that I bought a while ago, I still carry them sometimes. I do like Coach accessories and would still buy them.

Chloe Bay Square Tote. Discovered it way after it was "in" and had to search endlessly for it. Got it at a great price, carried it for about a month, and gave it to by best friend...loved the style, but it was backbreakingly heavy.

I had bought the cutest Maxx New York Handbag that ended up falling apart within a short period of time.
I had one of those, I found the leather INCREDIBLY stiff and it was way too big for me (I totally calculated the measurements wrong) but the color was gorgeous, I used it once for a carry on bag. I gave it to my mom since she likes bigger bags

A Fendi shoulder bag in Fuschia (sorry I dont know the name ). I bought it and carried it once in 10 months!!!! Also another bag/clutch is a Miu Miu Large white stiched clutch, i only carried once after I have waited so long to get it :s

My Louis Vuitton white multicolore Alma. The bottom of it was hard, it was heavy, didn't hold much due to its rigid shape. The worst of it was that I'm short and when I carried it I was constantly banging it against my leg. SO annoying. I sold it on eBay.

A messenger bag I bought online. I'm tall but I guess I'm apparently thinner than I think I am because this thing was ENORMOUS. Took it for a ride on my bike and it pulled me down! Never buying bags online is the best decision I've made. You just don't know how something will fit on you.

I snagged a vintage red Fendi coated canvas bag for $5 or so at the thrift store. Unfortunately, it turned me red :|. Perhaps I'll shellac it or something. It's a great color. I have a great leather briefcase from thrift town that I need to shorten the strap on. It's great worn leather but it's heavy!

My next panic would be the Chanel WOC I got for Christmas a few years ago. Such a teeny little bag. The WOC and I often had staring contests. I feared it. Then I started using it as a wallet, tucking the chain inside and putting my lip balm and other tiny things in it as well. And so I fell in love with it.
