BAGFETISH: YOU DONT LOVE THE NOE!!!!!!!??? lol I just got mine and I absolutley love it!! Lol when I read your post i was like "NO WAY...HOW CAN SOMEONE NOT LOVE THE NOE?"....lol!

Love to read everyone's "regrets". My 1st year on tPF was a buying frenzy, lots of purchases, and lots of regrets as I learn more about what works/don't work for me.

Let's see....Most regrettable due to heaviness: MJ Stella, MJ Aedina, Chloe Edith, Edith bowler, Heloise, YSL Muse XL. I think the average weight of these bags without my junk in them is at least 5 lbs, if not more.

Learned since that I am a shoulder-bag girl: Celine boogie.

Bags with defects: Chanel 8knots, a pin/stud poped off after 3rd use; Chanel Cotton Club tote, shoulder strap hardware fell out; Chanel PST, shoulder strap mishap. Funny, I thought Chanel should produce quality bags, guess just my luck.

Bags that mis-shapes when loaded: Chanel souple tote and Gucci Pelham. THe leathers of these bags are so soft, without any kind of shaper in the bag, they lose the original shape. When shaper is placed in side, then weight and the width of the base become a issue for me.

Any bags made in suede, get dirty/scuffed too easily. Had a Coach tote in suede. Gorgeous bag, but the corners got scuffed and dirty after 1st time out.

Another big lesson learned, never, ever get a bag just because it is on sale.

My most disappointing bag was a Coach XL soho hobo. I tried so hard to love it and make it work for me but it slipped off my shoulder one too many times, that was the final straw so I sold it. I hate bags that slip off so easy!!! Geesh that was a pita bag, good riddance.

marc by marc jacobs tote.

it waas a pretty shimmy gold with brown straps, and huge button. so pretty that victoria's secret and billabong decided to rip it off and make their own versions.

but alas, it would NEVER stay closed, and it was a such a big bag to have open all the time which made it rather lame to travel with, even though it's size was perfect.

My most disappointing bag purchase was this Sabina leather satchel from Urban Outfitters ($245 then 25% off):

I got it, and it looked very cheap. I could see bits of glue where the straps wrapped around the gold hardware, and they had come unglued a little bit. The gold hardware scratched so easily, and worst of all the black silk lining rubbed off on everything-thankfully I have a black wallet or I would have ruined something expensive! Luckily I managed to return it as defective because of the lining, even though I used it for a month.

Foley & Corrina Jr. Jet Setter. Scuffs easily, the black lining makes it impossible to find anything (like a big black hole) and the glazed leather looks cracked and dirty after several uses.
