What is the most that you'd spend on a handbag?

$2000 would be pushing it for me. I like to try and stay in the $1500 price range. I am proud of myself though for not purchasing a new bag in almost 3 years! My Chanel Diamond Stitch Tote is still going strong:)

I would probably spend $4,000 max for a bag and not purchase any other handbag for the rest of the year. On the average, I spend $6k-8k on handbags and wallets per year, that's about 3-4 handbags and wallets.

That's great! Have you felt any withdrawal?

----------------
The most I've spent on a bag was $1,364, and this was an amazing bag to me.
I haven't seen anything that was beyond amazing, but if I did, I'd say the most I'd spend is 3K, and it'd also have to be very different from anything I've ever owned! I haven't even come anywhere close to that yet. On a billionaire's net worth, probably 6K, lol. Beyond that, I'd say it wouldn't be worth it no matter what.

No withdrawal:) I'm fine with it. I mean, I buy other things (like HL dresses and CL shoes), but I just haven't felt that gotta-have-that-bag feeling.

Every single month my price limit seems to go up...it's a bit of a problem actually. $500 used to be a lot, then it was $800, then $1000, then $2000, on and on...Right now I probably wouldn't go over $4000, but I'm scared to think of where I may go in the future...

Just spent $1750 including tax and feel like I'm gonna :faint: My problem is I'm a magnet to beautiful things; bedding, clothing, furnishings, jewelry, and bags!!! This was my all time high and it could have been worse so I'm hopefully done for a long time. Gonna sit on the cheering committee now and cheer everyone else on their new purchases. The wallet is closed!

At this point in my life since i'm really young and still a student, i couldn't spend over $500 on a bag for 4 reasons
1) I only work part time for min wage and can't afford anything more
2) My tastes may change as i get older and i don't want to spend alot on something that i may not like later on
3) I live with my parents and they would KILL me if they ever found out i spent that much on a bag
4) I would feel extremely guilty(I still feel guilty about my latest marc jacobs purchase)

However, when i get older and start a real career i'll probably be willing to spend $1500-2000 max
