What is the most that you'd spend on a handbag?

My belief is this...if you can afford it, you should have it. I don't believe in taking money from "bills" or from savings...but if, at the end of the month, I have something left over--it's all about luxury.

As italiahaircolor stated, as long as all the bills have been paid and money has been put into savings, there is nothing wrong with splurging once and a while. The most I've ever spent on one bag was my Chanel classic flap, it was $2400 + tax.

I spent 2700 on a Hermes but I do not think that is smart. I like the leather coachs. I do not like the logo bags and hopefully I will want those more than LV. They are leather and cheaper.

I wore Coach when I was 14. I always was a purse girl wore and carried Gucci at 18-21. Still love Gucci.

I want to buy an LV...I love the black multi pattern and spent $800 on an ebay bag I returned because it was in bad condition. I also really want an LV Tivoli in the small size...but I dunno, I think the vachetta leather looks dirty after a while...unless I am just seeing people who don't take care of their bags. LV lovers please feel free to let me know if that is not the case and the handles don't look dirty over time (I know they get darker). I too love the black MC speedy but cannot part with that much money unless I was sure about the coloring of the handles

The most I've spent was just under $700 for my speedy.... a bag would really have to knock my socks off for me to go any higher.

My most expensive Coach bag was about $350 including tax. I don't think I'd go any higher than that.
